@@nikolaykondratiev3925 а в чем тотал то?! Если к примеру я беру себе автомобиль(битый) с Европы, и тяну его сюда, потом отдаю в качественный ремонт. И вуаля, авто выйдет максимум за 2/3 цены. И вот мне интересно, каких же мне он хлопот принесёт? Если конечно же ремонт был качественный(как в этом случае)

@@UVDshnik проблемы такие -- коррозия сварных швов. Судя по видео варит без сварочного грунта. Герметика в арку маловато положил. Если бы не коррозия, то никаких других проблем быть не может.

Bravo, I was discouraged when I saw the crash, you are one patient talented body repairman , congratulation on restoring these cars that usually end up in scrap yards as donors for parts.

Another job well done..and above all he is using tin/lead to seal...not many people use that system...so for me very professionally done and the finished item looks good too. Well done Arthur 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏

are you the first time here? it's auction car that was bought by Lithuanian reseller and the next owner will not know anything about its history. Check he's old videos, there are plenty of those US cars, also 50% of those are not legal to repair in US

@@dntpearson1994 I didn't see anything that I-CAR would disapprove of. Unless it is Ultra-HSS, the welding is not compromising the strength of the steel. Mercedes factory procedure would be: buy a new car. Manufacturers are increasingly making the cars irreparable beyond small procedures. Arthur's repairs are pretty solid 99% of the time. I would drive most of his repaired cars with no worries. I have seen a few repairs from some older videos that I have less confidence in, but nonetheless Arthur's work is on-par with many manufacturer's procedures and industry standard practices.

@@davidparker9676 Mercedes factory repair would be to drill all spot welds and replace all panels in one piece as the factory made them. None of this cut and weld shit

@@goclunker Mercedes would never repair that car. The car will be written off, by every insurance company, so Mercedes will never be able to work on this car. The replacement of airbags would cost more than 20K euros alone, not counting the repair hours for the metal work. This car is a totaled, however people like him allow those cars to live a second life. Respect.

These cars have really big trunk gaps from the factory. This repair is spot on!!!

This was a US car that was auctioned off, and transported to Europe, where they may have different rules as to salvage titles etc. (and if a car is even allowed to be repaired and put back on the road) That is often why cars such as this take that route, as well as the cost of labour in the US.

@@VC-Toronto we dont have such laws in Europe... you can put together a car from 3 cars :) All cars have the same title... not like you salvage clean destruction... If you can repair it good enough you can fool anybody

@@VC-Toronto I noticed the orange indicators/reflectors on the front bumper before the repair which I only see on US cars. After the repair they were gone so it had a front bumper swop to make it EU spec.

@@michael9515 In the UK cars have different insurance write off categories recorded against the car depending on the damage. N, S , B and A. N - non structural, S- structural, B- used for parts only(can't be returned to the road), A- scrap only ( whole car must be scrapped nothing can be used off it).

To all the people who are questioning the quality of repair and possible accident passive safety: half of you are driving cars that have been repaired like this or, most likely worse - you just don't know it. Arthur is giving us a privilege to witness how these repairs are done.

Я тоже работал раньше в кузовном, кузовщиком по сворке, 13 лет, знаю какая эта тяжелая профессия, мужик конечно красава, да и инструмент у него отличный, стапель грамотный да и остольное по инструменту конечно в достатке, но наличие тнструмента это ещё не значит хороший результат, тут ещё голову с руками нужно грамотные, у мужика видно что это всё пресудствует, красава лично мне понравилась его работа, молодец, таких мастеров да побольше бы. Респект и уважуха ему, руки золотые 💪👍👍👏👏👏
