    Quality vid, Heyboy. Dropping a 2008 version of the M272 engine in my '06 C230 Sport. It has all the upgraded parts that are problematic with the earlier models (camshaft gear and intake manifold linkage). Excited to see how it improves reliability. Keep the vids comin'!

    @@HeyboysGarage Just got the car and everything works. Straight body, no electronic issues. It was a cream puff. I really like this car, how it looks and drives. Bought it for $3,700. After transplant I'll be 8 to 9 grand all in. Still (to me) worth it because I like the body style and features. It's a forever car. It'll be fully sorted after all this.👍🏾

    bro i just bought a beautiful 2010 s204 c300 wagon at 110k miles, i've just changed all the fluids. what are some preventive maintenance i should do on it? as far as maintenance history go, engine oil was changed around every 10k miles and not much else was done except for the spark plugs according to the previous owner. btw you are a legend if you reply after 2 years.

    Servicing the transmission is usually overlooked, I think that has the 7 speed automatic. Basic items to inspect, serpentine belt, brakes, engine air filter, coolant.

    After a long drive at 26 mpg, im thinking i might have an exhaust leak. mileage would likely b bad if i was getting alot of oil in the intake. Not sure what mpg i should b expecting tho.

    Hey! I keep getting this disturbing ESP message on my dashboard screen and I’ve tried all diagnostics tools and it’s still appearing. I even tried changing the speed sensors the problem became worse, where the ESP engages itself causing all four wheels to seize up and making the car in drivable

  • @HeyboysGarage

    @HeyboysGarage

    2 жыл бұрын

    Have you tried using a used ESP module to see if that fixes the problem? The module would have to be the same part number as your. Ebay is a good place for that. Other than that there is nothing I can really do to help because of not physically being there nor know which codes you are getting. But what I had suggested that is a cheap place to start. It would be something as a simple part to fix or replace.

  • @HeyboysGarage

    @HeyboysGarage

    My car didn’t require the bigger cap. The packaging all comes like that because some specs require the bigger cap. I believe the c300’s require them if I’m not mistaken
