I raced an old lady on the highway.. she cut me off so I got pissed off and fish-tailed her... her car flipped 8 times and she got ejected out of the window, landed on the opposite lane and got ran over by two 18 wheelers... Then the alarm rang and I woke up. whew.

I know it now as the "Pathfollower"

Man, one one hand this show deserves 100x more attention and viewership, on the other though - I do love the sense of a small community of friends and buddies that we have going with all the shout-outs and birthday wishes. Anyhow, great episode - perfect way to start the week

Holloween, 2 years ago. I was driving while there was almost no visibility due to heavy rain. There was a family of trick or treaters crossing the street. I saw them at the last second and swerved in the opposite lane, narrowly missing them. I just kept it moving, the way they screamed when I almost hit them was pretty crazy.

Hotdamn, is it a coincidence the DIW kid was Asian?!!

One winter day in our small town in Kansas sleet left the streets like a skating rink. Our Studebaker station wagon had over-sized hand-me-down Cadillac tires on it. We slid around corners on the ice bouncing off curbs like a pool ball. That was the craziest thing I've ever done in a car.

Getting busted while drifting in the town center and trying to tell the officer that stopped me that it was an accident :'D

I was in a new Future Shop parking lot that hadnt put any plants in the concrete areas and everything was covered in snow and I went over that. In a 1999 Firebird. Nothing broke except my dignity.

Craziest thing. Took my dads 1976 Olds 442 out for a ride. He trusts me with it and I didn't take it out without asking. Was driving when some guy in a Plymouth Roadrunner pulls up next to me. He's got a 426 Hemi in his car and I've got a rebuilt 455 Rocket. He wants to race. Light turns green, we both punch it. I get ahead by half a car length. I can't pull away, he can't catch up. We're doing about 150km/h on a street that's 60km/h speed limit. Then the light up ahead goes from green to yellow. I was gonna blow thru it but saw a white Tahoe with dogdish rims and antennas on it. I knew it was an undercover cop. I slammed on the brakes and just stopped in time for the intersection. The Plymouth flew thru the light. The cop looks at me and points to stay there. Then takes off after the Roadrunner. I didn't stick around. I get back and the car just isn't driving right. I check the tires, the suspension, and look at the car to see if it's sitting properly. Finally I look at the back wheels and realize there's only 2 lug nuts holding each tire on. The torque ripped off the other ones. I told my dad and wasn't looking forward to his response. All he said was "Hmm. Did you at least win?"

FLD most ridiculous thing I've done, Drove on two wheels in a Chrysler town and country for a spit second racing to get home. Never again!

I've practiced drifting at my sister's elementary school during the night when it's raining

I have a few funny stories. 1st. Bought a 1978 FJ40 back home. The day I got it I went off roading up a mountain on a 2 hour long trail. Within 10 minutes of going down my breaks were gone. Luckily I was in the low range gears so I did not fall off the mountain. Once I got home a mechanic came over and it turns out that the base of the break callipers were too weak and broke. Also, turns out that the breaks had been adapted from an Aveo which was rather concerning. 2nd. It was the first snow fall so I decided to go drifting in my car. I turned all of the computers off and I drifted through some suburbs. It eventually got pretty late and I had to go back to my boarding school so I turned all of the computers on and even put it in snow mode. I pulled onto my school's driveway and eventually there is a left turn. I was so confident in the car that I just turned but before I knew it the car never turned and I fell sideways in a ditch... inside school property... I had to call 2 flatbeds to get the car out... Luckily the teachers didn't mind. They just laughed at me and it was a pretty well deserved laugh... Last, I went to visit my cousins in Virginia. They had an old bronco which was sold, the buyer was going to pick it up in a few days. My cousins lived on a cattle farm and had plenty of space to mess around so late at night we decided to take the Bronco for a final spin. The lights were not great, to say the least... Anyways, we start messing around and we eventually get some speed. Out of nowhere we hit a huge bump and it catches all of us off guard, however the worst was yet to come. We were approaching an electric fence and we were all yelling at mu cousin to turn and he was turning but the car wasnt. He jams on the break and we stop inches away from the fence. Turns out we busted the direction so we had to walk a few miles back home in the pitch dart. We walked up to the bump that we hit and my cousins had never seen it before. When we get home my uncle tells us that the bump was a cow that passed away and he buried...

Stuck it through 90 feet of fencing, part of a shed, and 2 trees... Broke my arm in half and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. 😐

Hey Derek D and all the guys at Fast lane Daily. When I think of a show getting out of the studio, I think more about actually going to places...car shows, hill climbs, race tracks and not just outside of the studio. Just my thoughts. I love the show.

The newest generation of the Pathfinder is actually a Pathjoiner. Hahaha!!

I hit the Gas filler off of the pump. I was in a manual Civic, and my dad parked his truck in the Parking lot and was watching me. I was getting nervous because he was just staring. I was watching him back in the rear view and by time my peripheral caught how close I was, I couldn't swing out enough, and I clipped it and it fell on the ground. There were people watching and he walks over and asks if I realized that I hit the pump... "Yeah... um, yeah, Man. I know I did." then I was too close AND the wrong side. So, with everybody watching, I had to flip around and pull back in the other way. Luckily I didn't stall or bog down the engine. After that, it took a long time for the air to feel cool again!

When I was 13-14 , I had a Go-Ped (motor scooter) that I always propped against the wall in the garage in front of the car. Parents drove a 2000 Mercedes ML430 at the time. One day I went to take my Go-Ped out for a ride but it was pinched against the wall and car and I wasn't able to get it out without moving the car. Knowing there was a spare set of keys in the kicthen, I grabbed them and decided to move it myself. Now keep in mind I have never driven a car before and didn't know a thing other than putting it into R for reverse. With the garage open, and driver door open as well, I proceeded to put it in reverse and accidentally hit the gas bending the driver door 180 degrees. I didn't get to ride my Go-Ped that day...

I drove 210 km/h From Riyadh to Alhasa ( 310 km ). and I now I'm in the state when ever it snow I'm go to empty places and drift I know not safe but you know what I love it. and driving is dangerous but I grow up driving fast it like a DNA thing to me. at least I wear seat belt. people in my country drift at 200+ km/h with no seat belt. so I'm safe by their standard.

Back in the day when I was young my friend Michael (Hey Michael... Use your FastLaneDaily Missiles) used to rent cars, disconnect their odometer so the mileage wouldn't go up and proceed to drift all over town. This was in Saudi Arabia, so you could get away with a lot. Especially since he was American. He used to drive with no license, just his US Passport. Many times the tires would get a flat, and we'd have to take them to a gas station to fix them for cheap. Damn being kids was so reckless. Another time, my friend and I got escorted home by police with an AK47 pointed at us on accident (was in between the seats in the front). My friend's dad's car broke down and was on the side of the road. When I had passed by it on the way to his house, I saw some Saudi men around it. I didn't know it was broken down at the time. They told me the story of how it broke down and since it was Friday (same as a Sunday in North America) all two trucking companies were closed. I took them in my car (96 impala ss but in saudi it was named caprice ss) and when we got back there, the cops were there. I acted as the translator from English to Arabic. The cop was mad as this was a time when Terrorist attacks were happening. He asked why they left the doors unlocked, and my friend's dad said they didn't. Once that happened, they kept the dad there and put us in a car and moved us about 400 meters away. They searched the car and found Islamic tapes in the tape deck which triggered them to call the bomb squad because my friend was from South Africa and Christian. They didn't find anything, then they took us home. Pretty cool story.

Most ridiculous thing I've done is going 155 mph in the Battery tunnel on thanksgiving eve. Yeah, so instead of a nice big turkey dinner, all I got was a gross bologna sandwich and a little carton of milk!!!!! On the brighter side, The cops told me that I hold the world speed record for the tunnel!!!!!

Best car story... So I was merging into I-25 south (floored, because... No power in my little Fiesta.) in Colorado when I realize my merge lane is extremely short and there is a semi carrying a huge wind turbine blade. These things are well over 100 feet long. And are about 7 feet off the ground when in transport. I had a choice; Live out my childhood Fast & Furious dream, or regret not doing it. I merged under the wing and proceeded to pass the semi. Not sure he even saw me. Didn't honk, flip me off, or yell any profanities. Very undramatic. But, I was ecstatic!

Drifted the family Volvo 940GL at 60mph in second gear on an icy road ^^ I was 18.

Most ridiculous thing, jumped with my Punto for like 2 seconds air time at 45 mp/h, wrecked my dampers and didn't realise that my air filter came off, drove without air filter for one whole day. The car is still fine tho ;D

My dad had a Dodge Challenger hellcat and I took in the night and got it up to 171 mph on the highway at 2am.

Story of the day. some friends and I were heading to Austin Texas on a pretty cold night, up until this point I had never been high or drunk. so of course I was the DD, but my friends thought the cold weather was justification enough to "hot box". seeing as how Austin was about 2hrs away I've been driving for at least 2 blunts but I feel fine since I hadn't been smoking. Then a highway patrolman pulls me over, so of course my pot head friends started spraying stuff and hiding stuff. me I'm cool calm and collected. The 60 yr old southern cop talks to me for a while and finally asks me "son, do you know why I pulled you over tonight?" I respond "um, speeding?" he says "speeding! son I clocked you at 13mph!" At that moment I realized that I needed new friends.

I used to work for a shipping company call A1 in NYC I drove over a speed bump way to fast and broke the cars engine mounts and the engine almost fell out the car

when I was in high school I had a '69 Olds Delta 88, well I live in a small town in california and most of the roads here are rural and in bad shape. I had a girl in the car with me and well she started to give me a David Blowie, when I went over a pot hole and she bit down my gear shifter and that made me swerve and take down a fence. My car was fine aside from some scratches thanks to that good ole american steel. P.S. we didnt hear a story from you Derek D

My cousin and I took his 1996 Pontiac Bonneville to spotlight deer in a public park. After finding a small herd, we decided to give chase and test their speed. At night though you can't see terrain changes and managed to bottom out the car on the transmission and crush the case. It never quite ran the same again. #FLDQoftheD #young&dumb

I was taking my moms '05 Camry out to my friend Will's house with my other friend Christian. He lives out in the middle of nowhere so their is a dirt road that leads up to his house. I missed the turn off to his house so I looked at Christian that was sitting in the passenger seat and said, '"Watch this". Then I pulled the handbrake to do a 180. I was going too fast and the road was too narrow so I ended up high centering the car on the edge of the road because there were steep banks on the road. After about an hour of finessing with branches good will clothes that were in the trunk and being pushed out by Will's pickup we got the car out with only the under liner getting damaged. To this day my mom has not found out.

Took a left turn way too fast trying to beat the yellow and spun out (RWD G37 and it rained that evening). Smashed one of my rims so hard the alloy rim looked like there was a bite taken out of it :(. That was an expensive and stupid thing to do.

I've got a car story to regale yall with, though it wasn't me driving. I had arrived with my family to see my sisters play, and since my brother had his own place, he drive separate. As luck would have it we arrived in time to watch him pull up. I noticed when he parked however that he was crossing the line taking up two spots, I pointed it out to him. After I did so, he responded with "I'll fix it" pulled forward and to the right to take up 4 spots. We all then laughed and went inside.

The most ridiculous thing I've done? Well, after two months of getting my drivers license, I accidentally smashed a Chevy up pretty bad to where you couldn't tell if it was a Chevy, or an accordion. And I nearly clipped another car because the stupid evening sun was in my eyes, even with the visor down.

My ridiculous car story: My grandpa drove with me to a shop in an old manual Mercedes 190, parked the car on a small slope, put it in gear and left me in the car. As I sat there I thought "what could happen if I'd pull on that lever thing?" so I did. The car started to roll down the slope into an old Volvo that was parked vertically across the street. I was totally shocked and my grandpa had to pay ~800Mark at that time for the damage on his front bumper and on the other cars door. (800Mark = 450$)

In my high school days I had a 1992 Toyota celica and one of the headlights was messed up and so it was always flipped up and I was skipping school with my friends and we were on a highway ... I had my cruise control set at 75 mph ... And as we were traveling a plastic bag got stuck on the front bumper and it was a big bag so I could see the bag weaving on the flipped up head light and so I decided that I will climb out of the driver side window get on the hood and pull out the plastic bag and so I told my friend to hold on to the steering wheel and I climbed out the window lean down towards the edge of my car's bumper and pulled out the bag while my friend was holding the steering wheel while the car was doing 75mph on the high way and then I climbed back in and become very famous amongst my friends for this incident even to this day my friends remember that unfortunately this was back in 2002 and we had cellphones but non of us had a camera phone

#FLDQoftheD I was in high school, and I was driving my truck to school one cold morning, when I noticed the frost on the road made me slip a little bit going around a corner. So on the last corner before I reached the school parking lot I decided that I'd drift around it to show off to the group of smokers who were always there. I was going slow enough, but I gave it too much gas and, of course, spun out right in front of them. Embarassed, I decided to go around the block instead of turning around in front of everyone. Little did I know there was a cop sitting right by the group of smokers. I don't know how I didn't see him, but when I finally noticed his lights behind me I had already made a full loop around the block. So when I finally pulled over I got arrested for accidentally outrunning a cop 😂

#FLDQoftheD, Back in the day when was younger, I lived in Maplewood NJ and drove to a club in NYC with a friend in December on a night I knew it was going to snow. Needless to say it snowed nearly 12 inches and I still do not know how that RWD 1988 Chevy Camaro got us home. It made for an entertaining nearly 2hr ride on mostly deserted roads though. :D

The most ridiculous thing I ever did was I deliberately ceased engine on my dads 1998 Nissan Sunny 2.0D back in Pakistan. It was a diesal and I hated it with passion. So I decided to make him lose that car. I use to rev it and drive in 1st gear for miles. I tried some suger in the fuel tank but finally I put glue in engine and it did the job. And week later he bought brand new Honda Civic... I was 16 at that time and I am not proud of it...

im only 16 so im a new driver and just a couple days i was driving my 300zx z32 and a car was going to hit me so i turned to the right were their was some construction and i hit a trailer with a ramp and a bystander said i jumped and i went 6ft of the ground

Raced in city against Audi R8 while having traffic so it was not legal race and the speed limit was 60 and we were cought on radar at about 130 by the police P.S. it hapend about month ago so no ticket yet and i hope never because we did not stop

got a ride back from a friend coming back from a wild party, little did i know the guy was on speed. Driving on highway i mentioned dude you are going the wrong way and we should be on the opposing side. Dumb guy thinks he is doing 10 mph and wants to do a U turn while doing more than 70 i believe. Flipped 2 times. Totalled his 7 series. Got minor scratches....

Mercedes presents a 2017 or 2018 competitor to the car Tesla got to drivers around 2012. Tesla will be worried...if the car comes with a deal to charge up for free at many gas stations in Germany let alone the world, hyperspeed.

the dumbest thing i have ever done with a car was, taking my mothers car to go see a girl of course. and because i wanted to impress her i decided to drive without looking around first, so i end up hitting a little yellow pole and ended up leaving part of the bumper on the grown. then i went home and placed the car in a position as if it was a hit and run and someone else hit the car and left. then to make matters worst my mom called the cops and the found out what actually happened. yea that happened.

I was in 10th grade and I used to drive my mom's BMW everywhere. in one rainy day I was driving uphill pasding some sort of FBI headquarter. it was a rainy day. the car started to slide a little so I decided to give it more gas. it made a complete circle and blacked the road. the next thing I know I was surrounded by Armed guys pointing at me. they took me to a jail, and asked phone nombers. tow hrs later I was at home BCS my uncle knows the Boss in that building. #TheMiddleEast. :)

Running away from interest from the boys in blue and did it by unintendly shooting down a "hidden" lane and killing all the electrics by landing in a shallow lake.... The blue lights went away but the bill to get the car back and the time it took me to repair it taught me a lesson. There was no reason to run! I was not drunk, had tax and insurence and the car had a valid MOT.... The stupid things 18 year olds do, never again

I went over the cliff in a Ford Escort 1992 two body is one in the passenger seat one in the back seat . I crash-landed I thought it was going to be funny because my friend brother in the back seat was drunk and knocked out sleep you give him the heebie-jeebies in the stomach after a while the kids I thought I was going to land smooth sailing right all I could do was duck down below the steering wheel because I couldn't see out the windshield blue up and smashed the windshield in the hood.the joke was on me for trying to scare my friend coming down to hill for really fast I f*** my car up. I was younger tho. Lol
