Hellllllllloooooooooo Everybody!!!! Today's upload is a new but also throwback to my good friend's Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Roadster which is actually signed by the late great Sir Stirling Moss. My friend always craved a Mercedes McLaren SLR so when this one popped up, I know he had to have it. The SLR 722 is the more hardcore version of the Mercedes SLR McLaren, and what does the 722 stand for I hear you ask? It was the starting time of the Mille Miglia in 1955 in which Sir Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson made a historic victory in the Icon Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. This is why this very car is special, as The legend Sir Stirling Moss physically signed this very car. This car produces 641BHP and a 0-62mph time of 3.6 seconds, which is incredilbe for a car pre-2010. The interior footage is all from my past experience with this car, were I went to a Cars and coffee event with the owner to get some time to experience this true beast! The Mercedes 5.4 Litre Supercharged V8 is like a symphony of the gods! The Supercharger makes the experience so much more surreal. The Supercharger whine is so loud but so satisfying. The engine is a M155 SLR V8, which I think is the most beautiful sounding V8 to grace this planet! Tunnel Run in this car is a true event and I am so thankful to experience this car twice! The iconic SLR doors look out standing on the Mercedes Silver. I still think these are the most underrated Mercedes to have ever exist, however with 150 ever produced.... Who has seen one?! As V8 Supercars go, this is the best in my eyes.... well actually the Ferrari F40.... but this the closest second! Mercedes please collaborate with McLaren again, we need iconic supercars like this!
