Glad it was helpful!

I swapped the battery out and took off the ground cable while it was running, and it cut off. So I’m assuming it’s the alternator. The vehicle doesn’t need to be hooked up to a computer after replacing the battery does it?

Should be relatively similar. That is the same engine family. Just larger displacement.
