Thank you! You are the only one showing this model and year and when the switch actually broke. I went to the Dealer and dont make them anymore. I will order this set. Thank you! good luck with your videos and hope your subscribers number goes up!

I've had this problem twice in just under three years. I went to a Merc garage to buy the switch and to my horror I was told I had to buy the whole unit!!! The price....168€!!!! The part was not in stock I decided to order it (no other option) I was then told it would take between 2 and 3 months for the replacement to arrive!!!! The excuse being that the part had to come from Germany. I opted to check at a Car Dump next door and was told I could buy the 'used' part for 40€.!!!! Sadly the one they had was not quite the same. However, the guy there offered to send for one from a Parts Dealer. It would not be an original Merc part but it came at a cost of 90€ and it arrived within 5 hours!! Why is it that; if Mercedes Bernz is aware of the constant and common failure of the part, why don't they sell just the broken switch instead of the whole unit? It's obviously a design fault (on their part) which needs to be sorted out....and, at the very least held in stock and sold at a reasonable price !!
