I can honestly say, the only reason am an engineering student today is because of cars_the mechanics & all that. The AMG ONE is a masterpiece.
I can only hope and pray that somebody’s working behind-the-scenes to upgrade it and improve it the battery pack the turbos and make it the ultimate straight line and track weapon ever produced😍👍

Eliminate the turbos&all heavy ass associated hardware like exh and cooling systems. Pump up the motors to raxial flux monsters and ad more battery capacity=keeping up with the ev hypercars already out! Nevera, Batista, aspark owl, evija, mcmurty speirling pure ev etc.👍🏻😎

@@4literv6not possible that 1.6 liter is created which such tight tolerances it’s nearly impossible to modify unless you’re an F1 engineer yourself

I will certainly not dispute the claim that nobody is remotely close to bringing the F1 engine to the road like this car. I also think the current powertrains are technically interesting. With all of that said, the powertrains of the current cars are the least loved part of them. Certainly effective, but nobody loves them (and this was the public response from the very beginning). So why base a car around that? Others in this class very intentionally choose a different experience.
It's not very durable is it? David bought a Valkyrie too...
Garage queen and absolute nightmare for anyone who would plan to actually drive this vehicle...

Euro 7 emissions will limit performance of ICE in Europe and China.
Too expensive for a collector to actually use as intended. Shame

@@ftffighter that was Official STATMENT from years back,, AMG will not make it Road Legal on US with current regulations,, so if US customers still wanna buy AMG ONE,, they have to stay it on garage or just take it on Road Course(track day) or maybe on some private/closed road,,
More of this AMG and less of the mediocre GLA nonsense.
When you overcomplex a car, yet it is barely faster than a 992.1 GT3 RS on the Nürburgring, considering all the time and money AMG spent on it. This is it. The AMG One. You should have spent the money on a bonafide McLaren/Lamborghini/Ferrari fighter. Something like a 296 GTB counterpart than this moneypit. All the problems you have faced with this car, a mid-engined sportscar would have been so much better. Anyways. Epic engineering was shown here.

@@berkarslan9660This car costs almost 3 Million euros compared to a 911 GT3 RS, a tenth of it, which platform isn't all out on performance. Sure thing the 992.2. GT3 RS will be closer and the GT2 will on par or even faster with manthey performance kit.

I wish they talked about the gearbox too. Not sure if it’s a sequential or dual clutch
