tmat04 I can only comment on it looks wise and the specifications are pretty incredible. However I have not driven it. My only concern is that it will probably weigh too much and won't be as fun to drive as previous rear wheel drive versions from years ago. However i do own an AMG GTS and it's probably the best car I have ever owned. I would not swap it for a any super saloon.

Richard Labeja I thought so. And it is a great looking car, indeed.....easily one of the better looking sedans, ever, in my opinion. But there are so many of them on the market right now. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Audi RS7 new Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, Alfa Romeo Giulia, and even Tesla Model S, are all great looking sedans. I believe the new E63 S AMG is superfast. But it remains to be seen if it drives as great as the Panamera and Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Thats what i thought too. I would probably choose this because its the perfect all rounder, it has supercar performance yet also the practicality of a family car (in otherwords you have that performance yet unlike the coupe you can seat 4 other passangers!)

I agree with you guys. This car indeed has more updated tecnology and a better engine optimization. The inside are mind blowing but for exterior the c version is a bit more attractive from the back lights. But in the end who cares for just some stop lights xD The winner is AMG E 63S. I'd take the C63s coupe (well I already have one actually so I might be a bit biased :D). Coupe looks better and I don't need the rear seat space, plus RWD and 510 HP equals good times. That being said, the new E63S is an incredible feat of engineering, a car of this size and weight should not be capable of such figures. AMG smashed it with this one, the new M5 has a very high standard to compete with. My only gripe is the design, from the front it's perfect but from the back the only thing differentiating it from a regular e class is the exhaust and spoiler (at least with the c63s you can instantly tell it apart from a regular c coupe from all angles). If you're paying just over £90,000 (which is what a full spec E63S would cost in the UK) for a super-saloon it should look like one from every angle.

I am madly in love with that silver on black combination. I really want it but $130,000 is pushing it. But that's what you get for choosing the AMG E63 S version. If it's sub $100,000 I will not hesitate. Perhaps certified pre-owned.

Oh trust me, I know. It's the price I'm willing to pay. When driving these cars, I'm only gonna have it for a year maybe 2 at the most. Not only they depreciate like there's no tomorrow, they don't last long. That's why my good old reliable machine is a Toyota Tacoma. I'm interested in this car only for an occasional thrill ride and looking like an A-Hole while driving it. lol!

amazingly beautiful and powerful car. but honestly, how the hell does mercedes get those "official" fuel economy figures?? there's no way this beast does 8,8L/100km combined, even if you drive it super economically. people who can afford these cars don't really care about fuel economy, so just give us the real world numbers...
