I liked the 2021 enough to order one! It'll be here in the next week or so. I do wish MB had retained the IWC clock and that burl wood was available for the dash, but I'm otherwise happy about the changes.

@@KevinKickChannel C257 is a gloried A class, C218 was the last great CLS. what people are mad about the facelifts are how emotionless the design is. the flowing design language of the platinum age (2015-2019) has been abandoned.

I drove the old one at a track day in London 2 years ago.. I will never forget that incredible sound... I have been saving my pennies, so disappointed that they messed around with it, though I love the front exterior on the new. Great channel!!

I still think the facelift has a nice muscular growl, but it is for sure much quieter. A trip down to Brabus/Akrapovič is a must 🔥

Both are absolutely stunning cars. I love the last 3 gens W212 is my favourite but I love the evolution of the E class, all 3 models are absolute animals

Car reviewers talk about how outdated the pre face-lift entertainment/info tech as if drivers need to use it for software engineering. Dude all we do is listen to music, navigate and check information with it.

The sound on the pre-facelift 👍 The sound of the facelift car sounds hollow I will say I do prefer the rearlights on the pre-facelift but I prefer the headlamps on the new one no clock why such a nice touch to be perfectly honest not sure about the steering wheel in the new one looks very busy but I suppose you would get used to that and as for soft limiters give me strength 😆great video

The pre-facelift with the new panamericana grill and the diffusor from the facelift would be the perfect car. The biggest point for the pre-facelift is the no-opf sound.

I currently have the 2019 E63S and I am trying to decide whether or not to upgrade. I have to wait for the facelift to arrive in the US in order to go see it in person and compare it to my existing car. Here is what I have noticed from videos, articles and general research: 1. Facelift is missing the IWC clock 2. Facelift removed the ability of the driver to be able to control the passenger seat. The button that enabled that function has been removed in all the videos that I have studied 3. No difference in hp or torque. If they had bumped it up slightly, the decision to upgrade would have been easy 4. I am not sold on the exterior looks of the facelift. I prefer the exterior of my 2019 E63S. But I will make the final call on this when I see the car in person after it arrives in the United States 5. I prefer the design of the 2019 steering wheel, especially the metallic buttons on the wheel. However, I do like the two controls on the facelift's steering wheel for controlling driving modes and the other adjustable controls 6. Not a big fan of the mousepad. Prefer the dial controller 7. The facelift version has removed the 3-zone climate control. I have 3 zone climate control in my 2019 version 8. MB-UX and the augmented navigation are far superior in the facelift. MB-UX is currently the only real driver for me to upgrade to the facelift I dont believe the US spec will have the OPF. However, if it does and the car sounds muted, then that might may my decision for me. I would rather have the loud exhaust and miss out on MB-UX than to have the MB-UX with a muted car sound. Off course, getting an Akrapovic exhaust on the facelift might solve this problem. I was hoping that Mercedes would have made the decision to upgrade to the facelift an easy one. However, with all the "nickel and diming" such as removing the IWC clock, eliminating 3 zone climate control, remove of other features, coupled with a muted exhaust note and no bump up in power, I am not sure its worth upgrading. MB-UX is the only real reason to get the facelift

Very good review brotha constructive criticism would be when your driving it don’t put your foot on the gas and let off do that a few times then give a long pull through 3-4 gears

i am about to give in my m5 f10 competition for a e63s pre-facelift :D

I want an E63S estate in black, white or silver with black trims, no chrome and with a towbar. With the comfort ventilated massage seats in black leather and panorama roof. It doesn't matter if it's a pre-facelifted or facelifted as long as mileage is low

Overall I would take the pre-facelifted.. the exterior looks more elegant and elegance is something no Merc should lose. And it sounds better as well 😂

Facelift looks much better because of the aggressive design, reminds me of my W204 C63. Prefacelift front isn't aggressive at all and doesn't have that distinct angry looking lights which Mercedes is known for.

@@sashach1872 No it doesn't lol? Not even the eyebrow in the light is the same shape. The hood is different, front bumper design, and the entire shape of the car doesn't resemble an A45s at all.

Pre facelift looks better from the exterior and sounds better. Interior...I mean the steering wheel from the face lift model looks awesome

I really enjoyed your comparison HOWEVER, you missed one big item between the two to compare. The Burmester 3D $4500 upgraded audio sound system. Please compare them side by side.

Super Video! Ganz klar der VorMopf. Noch besser ist zwar der Sound des VorMopf C63, aber der E63 ist auch super. Allerdings muss man auch hier ganz klar differenzieren. So gut hört sich der E63 nur bis einschließlich MJ18 an. Ab MJ19 ist auch der VorMopf leiser. Sehr gut kannst du die MJ am Lenkrad erkennen. Das Lenkrad, welches man im Edition 1 sieht, wurde ab MJ19 durch ein etwas moderneres ersetzt. Dann kam auch der OPF in den Vormopf und es wurde leiser. Ich bin derzeit auch auf der Suche nach einen E63s, um meinen C63s zu ersetzen. Der muss unbedingt MJ17/18 sein, Performance Sitze und Keramikbremse haben, schwarz, selenitgrau metallic oder magno sein... Alles gar nicht so einfach :D
