    I'm running out of time. I'm 42 years old, I took the test twice and didn't pass. In the same place, on the same computer, I got a score of 6, I don't know what happened, I no longer have confidence in taking the test in the same place here in Miami. Joining the American Army is a lifelong dream of mine. I'm Brazilian, I'm learning English, my two friends, without having 100% English, managed to pass, and I, who encouraged them, didn't pass. Now I have the last chance, because then I will be 43 years old and they won't accept me. Thank you very much for the video and also the comments that help us.

For a suspension license and on top of that I have to pay the ticket but would be paying it the week of meps just not that day should I just not let them know or are they gonna see my record and see that I have that ticket? Because with that would they see I have a bench warrant out of state for the same reason cuz I will have it fixed when my tax returns come due but till that I’m waiting on my return to fund into my account. Just a bit worried cuz I won’t say anything if that’s what I should do unless it’ll DQ me. Any advice would be highly appreciated thanks

    My physical health is great, but I did once go to a hospital for depression when I was a minor. Is this something you can get a waiver for? Or is this passable? It's been a while since all this, I just worry that with what I have read you can instantly be DQ'd for it. Not many videos on the mental health side of MEPS.

  • @figtreeson5750

    @figtreeson5750

    The military, especially the marines, view that very “weak mind weak body” and also hate “weak minded” individual, I can safely assume that forms of depression will be seen as you having a weak mind, sadly I agree with them so just try to improve your mind so much and force yourself into hard and stressful situations so that your mind can adapt say like having your parents yell at you like mine did so you see depression as not an option, physically being fit is what you’re body is supposed to be so that helps too, and drink plenty of water to make sure your body is operating properly

    After you take ur asvab and confirm it, you go to ur hotel and chill over there. The second day was the worse. It was hella slow and really boring. You wake up at 4, then when you get there they brief you on what’s going to happen for the day until 5:45. Then you actually do the physical test. Ain’t nobody safe from getting ur cheeks spread and for the guys getting ur balls touched and tickled lol and everyone gets checked by a male doctor smh. It’s not all military personnel, it’s full of civies too they check ur eye sights, blood work, drug tests, hearing test, and physical tests. Some of them are a bunch of ass wipes but dude be nice to them (they might help you out and let u slide on some stuff) 12 hits and you eat lunch and continue ur physical test until 2. After that ur Liaison (AKA the final boss) they talk to u like a recruiter but their goal is for you to crack. They start to ask you cheeky questions and I fucked up and told them I smoked during middle school and I actually got hit by a marijuana waver which disqualified me from a bunch of jobs smh and that shit took a solid hour and a half to get approved. All I can say is deny everything except if it’s written down already by ur recruiter. After that you get sworn in, and Uncle Sam officially owns you. We all got done around 5, our shuttle (aka small van) took us home and I didn’t get home until 9. Also they only give you 3 chances to pee and if not you get disqualified. Also drink a lot of water and when you have to pee hold it until you actually get to the physical part. Don’t consume Nicotine and caffeine (they check ur heart rate, they can disqualify or pass u for that), Don’t blast music on ur headphone for ur hearing test, and don’t put ur phone on 100% brightness cause it might fuck with your sight thus failing ur sight test put it around 50%. Avoid mouth wash cause you might pop hot on the alcohol test and don’t take any pain or headache meds for the same reason !!!MAKE SURE TO DO ALL THIS THE DAY BEFORE PHYSICAL!!! That’s all I can say lmao good luck to ya and actually have fun, don’t be a stranger and talk to other people. Another question, if I can't get a signature from my babymama about not being able to provide financial support for the 13 weeks, what happens? A 64 is a great score to be honest. Unless you are trying for a specific job, that overall score is great, but what were your line scores? Because that’s what truly qualifies you for different jobs in the Marines as for baby mama, if you were not married, and there is no court ordered support, you should be fine. There is a waiver for that that should be easily approved. Hopefully the recruiter of your working with knows that but I would not be stressed if I were you. You should be just fine.

    If you fail the drug test it is 45 days before you can go back and retest. It was 60 but it just recently changed. Also I recommend eating a breakfast so you’re not tired and they test and or physical but don’t go crazy or you normally eat and try not to mix things up and you should be just fine.

    As a retired Marine I can easily say this. The only time you will have real say over your future is at MEPS and with your retention officer. Recruiters are shit bags. Always have been always will be. Shy away from open contracts and KNOW if your jacked around you can decline and speak with another recruiter from another branch. Period. Why can I say this? Well my son was the only boot who graduated with half his enlistment bonus and the other upon specialty graduation. Don't show up fat from day one. Be prepared to pass your entrance PT . Believe half of what you see and NOTHING you hear. Period. Semper Fi Mac
