What's next? What happens after C&P exam? Time frame after C&P? How is retroactive compensation determined; the guide lines?

I think I've watched every one of your PTSD videos, some of them more than once. I think I learn something new every time. I have my C&P exam next week. I feel more prepared after watching your videos, and have an idea what to expect. Thank you!

@@hutchyvetiii2630 Good, thanks! It was a mentally draining day. The doctor I was talking to was good and tried to help talk thru a few things and give some other resources. But, he only allotted 90 minutes for me and then was trying to push me out the door before I felt we were finished. However I think I got a fair rating at 50% for PTSD.

@@eQuariuz My letter said to allow 2+ hrs. My VA counselor also said expect about 2hrs. To me an hour wouldn't be enough to really evaluate a person. If they're really going to talk to you about experiences and how it affects your daily life. If it's less than an hour then I wiuld almost feel they have a predetermined opiniin of just based off your file. Unless they ask some very good specific questions. Just my opinion.

@@tonyforrest1095 - Mine was 1hr, ad the examiner had to stop due to time, but asked like usual.."is there anything else you'd like to say...". I had 2 other symptoms o discussed in about 4min. But honestly, I could see they read my lay statements bc he affirmed some of my experiences which were written in the statements. It sounds like yours was very thorough though. I suspect, at 50%, you may not have had severe symptoms or history? Combat medals and suicide ideation...etc

They are making it complicated. . OK so my suggestion is is look up the ratings for depression and what are the criteria's. Read the ratings for 30% depression read the ratings for 50% depression read the ratings for 70% depression and go through the list do you have these symptoms? That's the criteria

. What am noticing by watching well over 100 videos is that no one ever mentions the difference between “Pension” rated disabilities and others under VAs “Rated Disabilities” chart. There are a total of 16 on mine most of which have little idea of how they got on it ! Total % adds up to 90%. If look at “Not Svc Conn” there are Six & oddly Migraine appears Twice : once with NO %, i.e., Blank then two lines down ir shows up again but @ 10% “Pension” ! The Kicker is “anxiety disorder with depression” “100% Not Service Connected” ! Have just finished a Third C&P @ 2 Hours Long which was for PTSD that turned into MST and wound up with Examiner stating “You Have Depression” ! The only one listed as Comp is Tinnitus @ 10%. Everything is listed as Closed but have yet to receive white paper, re the Details on how this/it was decided. Only recent claims filed were for Migraine & Insomnia, yet all they talked to me about was Depression, PTSD & MST ! My VSO has Zero to say (& Yes He’s Swamped !) VSO also shot back at me that I’d Missed a lot of Exams when I was there and with witnesses but NO Examiner’s Ever showed up and VES Won’t comment at all on it ! (Had to wait 8 months for makeup Exam) Nothing like getting Accused of something can Prove and Still Get Lowballed… .

You guys (CC&K) are representing me, now. I had a C&P telehealth exam (June 2, 2021), and the review was favorable for PTSD on a direct basis, and depression [secondary to service connected disabilities]. The VA asked for a second opinion (which they don't do with an unfavorable C&P exam), which was completed (July 15, 2021_IMO-which she reviewed my medical records), and that C&P was favorable as well! The VA has still not granted me service connection, and are asking for more evidence, which all relevant evidence, has been submitted. This supplemental claim was opened March 8, 2021. The reason for denial in my last rating decision, was because the telehealth examiner wasn't licensed in Georgia, but Texas. Now, the VA has assigned me to Georgia examiners, plus a C&P exam I had with a private doctor, for an IMO, who is licensed in Georgia, but the VA is asking for more evidence. I need all of the help I can get, because this seems extremely dubious! Thank you for all your help, and work!

shady. By" direct basis", does that mean you have a combat record, combat action ribbon ...etc??

They sat on my claim for a year to drop my case once they finally took a look at it

I wísh they can allocate a time so we're able to ask question about present illness ECT.

I'm 70 TDIU. I just had my C and P today. We will see what happens.

Should you bring your spouse? I’m conflicted.

I recently had mine. The examiner diagnosed me with mdd and ptsd. He said it was more likely than not related to military service. The examiner said that my disability severely interfere with my social and occupational functions. My pcl-5 score is 70 . What should I expect and how soon should I expect a decesion.

Nearly identical here with VA diagnosis.

Do you need to get a diagnosis leter from a doctor prior to filing for depression and anxiety? Or, can you file and be evaluated by the c&p doctor? And what happens if you are seen, diagnosed and asked to take medication BUT refuse to take it?

Thanks bunch helps a lot. I have my first appt. Monday jan 2. One question, dress attire? Jeans? Sweats? Shave? Appearance stuff. Bunch thanks plus that last bit on watching you..... Do they have camera outside?🙂 Never know.

I am a service connected vet @ 70 percent. I a C & P exam a few days ago. Does my sleep disorder fall in the 70 I already receive?

If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, then you should be able to get it claimed as secondary to PTSD.

Why would I have to go for another Evan after I’ve been receiving 70% for a couple of years now??

I was diagnosed with depression 8 months ago active duty, and upon a cmp exam after my release I was diagnosed by a va therapist with major depressive disorder, does this mean my rating would be just for my initial claim of depression? Or are they gonna rate me for MDD? I’ve also been diagnosed with anxiety by both therapist mentioned both civilian and military, secondary to me having a viral Heart condition, and feedback would be appreciated! Thank

Does anyone have any private docs they can recommend in the NJ area? This is for a psychiatrist to talk to once diagnosed by va.

First time for me was around three months, Denied Second time, Approved one hundred percent P& T

Todo empezo cuando yo con confianza le dije a mi trabajadora que estabamos en foreclosure y despues de un ano nos notification que tenemos que dejar la casa,desde ese momento nos cambio la vida ,a mi esposo lo diagnoticaron con demencia y a mi me acusaron con adult protect services y junto con VA me acusaron de abusar, abusar financieramente y de neglijente, y todo esto Para ponernos un fiduciary,pero ni mi esposo ni yo estamos en acuerdo. He buscado casa Para movernos y no encuentro ,AL no encontrar casa hemos desidido movernos a Mexico ,pero si ustedes toman el caso entonces nos esperamos.hasta ahorita nadie nos alludado en nada ni siquiera el congressman John Carter, grasias por su Atencion Carmen Gamble

They asked me about pre-military and post military. Would not ask me about my in service. Pathetic
