Menopause and Anxiety: The Truth About Anxiety, Depression, and Joint Pain in Menopause

In this episode we meet Jennifer. Her powerful story about experiencing joint pain, mood swings, and depression will directly connect you to the emotional and physical struggles that perimenopause symptoms create in a woman’s life. In Jennifer’s case these brutal symptoms have left her fighting suicidal thoughts and deep anxiety.
Jennifer’s story is not uncommon, and the courage she has shown publicly sharing her story will, if nothing else, let other women impacted by severe symptoms know they are not alone. Jennifer's video will also give you hope.
Despite all the hardships, she shares how she has coped, what she has done to keep her marriage sound, and how she has turned this time of turmoil into a means of giving back by starting a company focused on women’s health.
Are you feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and generally out of sorts as a result of the perimenopause or menopause experience?
Are you feeling anxious and exhausted on a regular basis? Do your energy levels plummet right when you need them the most? Has depression or thoughts of suicide crept into your day-to-day life since entering perimenopause or menopause?
If so, know that you're not alone. Many women experience extreme emotional distress during this time of transition linked to hormonal imbalances in the body.
The good news is there are ways to address these issues head-on and start feeling more balanced again. Menopause tips can be found at: www.herstasis.com/menopause-d...

Thanks for sharing! 💕 Can I ask you, did you need a hysterectomy because of fibroids?

I went through menopause 2 years ago in the middle of the Pandemic. As a teacher, I've struggled to hold my tongue around my students. Your video resonated with me as I have felt so out of control, had so much pain through body... Changing my diet (limiting sugar) and exercise, as well as finding a mental health therapist as made a lot of positive differences. Thank you for your transparency, it means so much.

Thanks for your comment! A decline of certain hormones as you age, does contribute greatly to perimenopause symptoms.
