I was working in a food truck on a truckers event and this guy came up and casualy ordered the meat sandwich on the menu, and my number. It made me smile. Never had such an unusual order, so I wrote it on the napkin and gave it to him with the sandwich. The rest is history. He still has the napkin too. Later he told me, he knew we were supposed to be together when he saw me. I must admit I can't realy remember when I had the epiphany he was the one. Like you had when a voice said "you are going to marry him". It just felt good from the start.

Oh how your story sounded sooo much like mine! We met when I was 19 at my job. His mom worked there too. We believe marriage is for life also so after me and my husband had dated awhile and he started talking marriage i froze up! I was terrified! I loved him but I just was so scared. I began to ask God over and over And Over🙄 if He wanted me to marry him. God answered me over and over. I made that poor man wait so many years. This man is the love of my life and we have been married 18 years this coming April! I'm so thankful to God for such a Godly man! Hes the best!! He is my soulmate!! A friend of his worked with me at a facility for the mentally disabled. I liked said friend but he didn't like me, in that way so he had a party in between Christmas and New Years and invited a few of his single friends to attend hoping one of them would hit it off with me.That was Dec 27 1984, I chatted all evening with one of the guys ( I grew up with three brothers so chatting with guys is much easier for me) and he asked me if I would like to go to another party on New Years Eve at one of my other co-worker's home, I of course said yes! He left the first week in January to go back to finish college so I wouldn't see him again until mid February after graduation. Three and a half years later we married and this year on Oct 8th we will be celebrating our 31 anniversary! I enjoyed hearing your love story, I hope everything with your health passes so you can do the travelling you'd like to do. May God grant you peace love and friendship through all your days together!

I met my husband when I was 18. I met him April 9, 1981, we got married May 16, 1981...I was still 18 and he was 23. Yes the next month. 1 month and 7 days later and we are now in our 39th year. He and I just knew God had put us together. We also stay married for life, we have never talked about divorce....Not ever. We are so in love and are best friends...God meant him for me and me for him and it will be that way for life. People have asked us how we are so happy, love being married, and how we do it.....I always say Keep God in your life and marriage and it is easy to have a wonderful marriage.

We were married exactly 5 months after we met. The Lord led him right to me. It's been 6 years, and I know one day I will saying 39 years just like you. Praise the Lord that you and your husband have eachother! 😍

Love your story, we also saved sex until marriage and been married for 34 years, we only dated for 4 months. We still hold hands and flirt with each other. God is the center of a happy marriage

I like that you and Nolan traveled before having a child. My husband and I did that for a whole year and my in-laws commented a lot that all that money could go toward a down payment for a house! They later said, as they read our letters home, that we were building memories that would last a lifetime!

I had the “this will be your husband” as well, after reading redeeming love and then thinking about the guys in our church, and heard God say ‘he’s the one.’ I didn’t even know him at all other than his name. And wow how life changes for you once the Lord tells you something you’ve been waiting for a while. God is so kind.

After a disastrous relationship with my first love in early 20's and a lot of frogs later I decided to stay single and swore never to marry! At 37 someone came into my life and that was it, thankfully, as when he first asked me for my phone number I almost gave him a false one because I was afraid to get involved ever again. Well, 10 months later we were married and I thank God everyday that I gave him the right number. He is my best friend, a good Christian man and an all-around wonderful man. God is good. Yall are so cute....I love that you have so much preyoutube footage! I was so amused at the b-roll and past footage that your man was so smiley and skipping over logs and then it would cut to current and he's so straightfaced just sitting there while you talk! It made me chuckle. I'm always interested to see how God is intertwining lives together for his glory no matter the bumps and bruises along the way. Keep on keeping on sister, you have an eye for videography for sure :)

I started this past summer by downloading thousands of videos from my phone onto a folder on my Seagate. Now I’m trying to rename them by year, month and event, so it roughly looks like 2019 July Eden baseball, or 2018 December Christmas morning, etc. etc. And such a long, tedious process...but fun :)

Your story is beautiful, I appreciate your honesty in the anxiety you had prior to the big day and throughout your dating, I had similar stress and leaned on my faith as well, we were married in Versailles just outside Paris in 2018 and I never looked back either. Thank you! Yes, God is good! Documenting life has been my passion and yes, even now I am so grateful! I have videos from being 14 and living at home on the farm. Not nearly as many as I do now, but it's something! And I'm thankful my best friend was ok with me sharing the clips of her talking. I love your story, and I love seeing the love you have for each other. God is so good...He knows just what and who we need in our lives. Congratulations on your anniversary. What a beautiful story. I love that! My husband and I were introduced at a fake Bible study that was set up by our moms haha. Problem was that he brought his friend and his friend and I ended up dating for three months. It quickly ended when I found out he had a lot of problems and was a terrible person. So my husband and I were good friends for a year and then dated for three. He was seemingly a strong Christian and so I had all the confirmation I needed. Right after the wedding he changed completely. We had about ten rough years but neither of us believed in divorce. Now we have been married nearly thirty years and it has been tough sometimes, good times here and there, but it has been an act of obedience to stay committed. We love each other, rarely if ever fight, so that is good. But how surprised I was that all the signs were good, all the doors open, all the boxes checked, and plenty of time to truly get to know exactly who he was....and I was still fooled. But God is good, and Jesus is my eternal bridegroom! I’m thankful that my husband is my partner in this life but I have Jesus for eternity ❤️ this life is a breath it is so short. And had my husband been perfect or near perfect I would never have longed for my relationship with Jesus as much as I have. May God continue to bless your marriage!

I have come back and watched this video about four times in the past year or so, perhaps longer. I love to hear your story and it reminds me of my trepidation about marriage and so on years ago. I really enjoyed watching this video!! I thinks is so amazing how God brings to people together who are perfect for each other!! My husband and I basically grew up together and were great friends growing up....we went to the same church and youth group! Never thought of him as more then just a good friend for the longest time! We then became closer friends, and we then started dating when we were both 18. After only dating for one month my now husband but boyfriend then, moved to Missouri were he taught school for one year! You mentioned how your long distance relationship was a good thing, and I can agree with that....even though it wasnt easy at times, it help us to grow in so many was as a couple and as individuals!!! He then moved back after the school year was over! After dating for little over a year we got engaged......we have been married for little over a year now!! Watching this video made me think back on all the wonderful memories that my husband made back when we were dating!!! 😁😊👍❤
