Meng Su performs in the Final Round of the Parkening International Guitar Competition on May 30, 2015.
Meng Su went on to win the Gold Medal later that evening, becoming the first guitarist to have won both youth and the main Parkening Competition, she is also the first female guitarist to both make it to the final round of the main competition and win the Gold Medal.

I keep coming back here...especially after hearing others play Toccatina....what an amazing performance....your use of dynamics in your music is probably the best i've heard, and sets you apart....nicely warmed up by the Concerto, you played here with an exuberance and freedom of someone playing in their own lounge at home.....musical perfection.. technical brilliance, as always.
Glad to watch Su winning a reputable competition again. A few little accidents (such as 4:54) and orchestra problems, but overall very beautiful. To play this concerto after the other two competitors, and win, is quite a feat!

She is a supreme musician in that her playing brings out all the details one wants to hear and she has a gravitas and dignity that is beguiling. Her technical ability is phenomenal - but is used for expressive purposes. A truly great guitarist.

Your sound system can't be ramped up?
She must have won. Wonderful performance. More harmonies than most can produce from this piece at the speed it which it is played.

Bien... Excelente. Me gusta sin tener que decir algo que está claro, sabe lo que hace y lo hace muyyyy bien. Me gusta sobretodo por no querer introducir nada mas de lo que toca, no va a relucir pero se hace escuchar de una manera sublime y natural. Por mi es un perfecto.

She shows an absolute mastery of the instrument. There was an Un-characteristic glitch at the beginning of the second movement. She’s still absolutely phenomenal.

Me gusta mucho la clásica, la guitarra española en orquesta es una maravilla y aquí escuchamos un dialogo entre guitarra y orquesta, sentimientos. Aqui se respeta la obra del autor, dis sentimientos, ella, la guitarra tespeta esa ofrenda sin querer ser protagonista absoluto. Joaquin Rodrigo creo, es mi opinion, le habria gustado mucho esta sobriedad

Esta artista me hace pensar en que en China para tocar ErHu se tiene que ser un virtuoso o virtuosa. Entonces Ella toca la guitarra como una virtuosa en ErHu.
Su Meng é uma das melhores guitarristas do mundo. É rápida e precisa. Mas, para mim Li Jie é "perfeita". Li Jie é a melhor instrumentista de guitarra clássica do mundo. Su Meng é a segunda melhor guitarrista do mundo ( homens e mulheres). Michael Angelo Batio melhor instrumentista da guitarra elétrica do mundo ( ver no KZread Michael Angelo Batio 4 electric guitarra).
No hay mejor interpretación que la de Paco de Lucía, tan solo por el pulgar y el rasgado que es donde mas diferencia hay para resaltar la guitarra.

Well Segovia thought Parkening was great and Segovia made better record than YOU ever will. Your stupid opinion means nothing. You must know that.

So what? Everyone makes mistakes. What a wonderful perfomance with a great energy. For example John Williams made a big mistake while playing 2nd movement of Aranjuez with London Symphony Orchestra. So don't pick holes in this perfomamce and just enjoy this great played piece of music.

This ain't flamenco...those motherfuckers intentionally play loud and harsh which is epic in flamenco.
No se por que tanto alardeo de una Musica Monocromatica que se repite y se repite en diferente instrumento y la guitarra es tan sencilla en una tecnica tan pobre No desep ofender a nadie pero que deben analizar un poco para darle tanto realse a algo tan sencillo

La verdad, no entiendo porque dices que eso de la guitarra. Entonces el piano es un instrumento pobre, el piano y la GUITARRA son los instrumentos más completos que hasta ahora existe. Pero si explicas porque lo dices entonces se podría discutir con argumentos válidos. También mi opinión es con mucho respeto.
