I love roller skating and I'm quite decent at it but I'm so scared to try ice skating because I'm super clumsy and I heard the blades on the skates are super sharp and knowing myself I'd be injured within the first 20-30 minutes. But I still wanna try it...

you should really try it i tried when i was four or five years old and you just have go slow at first and when you get a hang of it go a little faster just go slow and you can do it, if five, year old clumsy me could do it you can sure as heck try. c:

I wouldn't worry too much about yourself ;-) Most people aren't flexible enough to really hurt themselves with their own blades. Keep enough distance to the other skaters and go slow at first - things will work out! Ice skating is sooooooooo much fun, it's worth it.

I_Like_Pandas17 that's funny, i'm pretty comfortable with ice skating but i'm terrified of roller skating. Falling on the ice doesn't hurt as much as concrete, you at least smootly slide on ice, on concrete if you slide you get scratched to death.

rloach067 you don't have to skate on concrete! You can do it on wooden floors but it does hurt 😂😂 I suppose you'd normally wear elbow and knee pads as well as gloves or padded gloves :)

Ballet would be great. I've tried it and it has to be the most difficult discipline of all dance. Paso Doble would also be a fun one to watch.

You guys actually did really well! I'm glad that you seemed to be enjoying it and taking it at least somewhat seriously instead of making fun of it like a lot of people do. Skating is a ton of fun (especially when you have friends who skate as well), and for anybody else reading this who wants to start skating, it's never too late to learn. A lot of adult skaters start in their 20's, 30's and 40's. The adult skating community is awesome and super supportive.

I used to ice skate all the time, I was never very good but y!!oi has inspired me to go for the first time in about 6 years tomorrow.

They were actually really pretty good. I teach figure skating, and all of them are much better than most first time adult figure skaters that I have dealt with.
