It kind of annoys me that a majority of comments are girls lusting over the men in this video. The point of the video is to highlight beauty standards that are largely unobtainable for a lot of men (especially the slides that mention that surgery is increasing in numbers), I don't know, it just irks me that a lot of women aren't taking this video very seriously especially considering if this video was reversed gender then girls would be going on about how unfair beauty standards in society are smh (and this is coming from a girl, not a guy, btw).

They have videos from buzzfeed about standards of beauty for women as well as other similar videos. This is about what is seen as ideal in different parts of the world. Even though these men are damn fine physical specimens of manly goodness... I think women (and men) would agree personality plays a huge factor. He looks good but is a jerk, he can keep on moving pass me. I like a slender built man with long shaggy hair who is not all that tall. What catches my eye is not "ideal" but we all see beauty in different ways.

Mate , nowadays what women value most is getting equal respect, and an honest and loyal partner . All the physical features come later . If you are not physically attractive but have a great personality, you will fond the right person for yourself. And the people ho judge you on your physical appearance and not on your personality, don't deserve you .

As a straight men, I honestly didn't feel sexually attracted to any of these men, but I did enjoy their respective esthetic beauty. Feel free to call me gay if you want to.

I a female totally agree with you. If I had the chance to get down and dirty with any of these men I wouldn't because I personally don't find them sexually attractive in my book, but I do respect that they are aesthetically beautiful on a major scale to this world. To me they were just okay.

Stevesrssrssrs It's not as uncommon as you would think, it borders on the idea of feminine beauty which is still pretty accepted as a standard of beauty here (though it can also call for some teasing from peers and borderline harassment from lesser-minded people who have some outdated ideal in how men should conduct and portray themselves). It's just something different than what everyone around me is portraying themselves as.

They did India so dirty tho? Lmao all people talk about when it comes to beauty standards in India is skin whitening. Male beauty standards in India is to have large eyes, a strong jawline being extroverted and having an athletic body type. I don't think skin whitening is the real deal for men in India, definitely not nearly as much as the women.
