What was up with the judging this year? Jagger, clay, and heimana all put down pretty flawless runs and the highest any of em got scored was 80.

Thank you for posting this! The X Games are held only once a year, and most people, including myself, miss the live broadcast. Now, people who did miss it live can watch as much as they want to!

Solaris-Orion It's once in the summer and once in Winter, as much as I know. They did have it 4 times in 4 different countries one summer, but that was a one-year thing.

Honestly Clay Kreiner, could be a stuntman, the way he frickin salvages his failed tricks is unbelievable

Judging was pretty off imo, Kreiner and Heimana got scored so low! Kreiner's 2nd run was fire! Instead I feel like Shaar's run got scored higher than it should have😐

Tristan had a good run. But how does his score go up every run and everyone else has shittier runs then their first runs? This judging is retarded and makes no sense.

That's the sickest bowl set-up I think I've seen in a skate contest. Amazing job X Games.

I literally got into skateboarding a week ago and this has blown my mind

Loving the video; great camera angles to capture the action and really enjoying that you can hear the crowd reacting in the background - adds so much to the atmosphere. If only it could be in 1024 HD too!

Amazingly, I met Heimana years ago at a skate camp in Hawaii because he was coaching my group. I never thought much of it then but only now do I realize what a great opportunity it was

For Heimana's first run I agree with the score, at least do a SINGLE flip-trick, the invert was pretty damn cool but those don't get scored like they should AND you needed more variety in your tricks.

Fun fact... Bob taught me how to kickflip with THE FIRM team at my after school skate club. The legend BOB took time aside to teach me when I barely knew how to Ollie. And changed my broken ass X games board for a brand new FIRM board with all new lucky bearings and black magic grip. I love 💕 that guy. Bob and Richard Mulder. Still have signed boards and T's. Shout outs to bob. Richard Mulder, lance mountain and rae barbie !!!!! I'll never forget those days

sponsors pay them good money to rock their gear.....more sponsors logos on TV, bigger paycheck Thats why you see them show their boards to the camera, or point to logos on their clothes....they get bonuses

yeah but nearly every single one of them loses their hat at some point and it's just sitting there all crumpled on the floor you think the sponsors like that? It seems to me like a trend, like it looks "cool" when they "really send it" and their hat flies off, but I think it's silly and it makes me laugh.

It's all about the sponsors. They just want to see their logo as much as they can, even if it's only the first 2 tricks of a run. Well, actually, I wear a hat when I skate. I'm not sponsored. But I don't go near as fast as these guys either.

Judging is pretty horseshit at times, but shredders all around though and a cool course!
