The great Tommy Kono needs to be coaching the coaches on how to select opening attempts.

31:14 - Interesting how Gor nervously readjusts his grip and his hands get further apart by maybe a half inch on each side. After one readjustment his grip was even wider on his right side than his left.

16:41 - Can someone explain to me why there are 6 25 Kg plates on each side of the platform? Fully loaded with collars that would be 325 Kg (or 716.6 pounds). More than any super heavyweight has even thought of attempting. Also why is there more than one each of the 20 Kg, 15 Kg and 10 Kg plates on each side?

@@yunwoonam8879 Unnecessary cost for one. The Eleiko 25 Kg competition plates are $439 EACH, the 20 Kg competition plates are $384 EACH, the 15 Kg competition plates are $329 EACH and the 10 Kg competition plates are $274 EACH. So I see $5,704 spent on plates that were never going to be needed - unless these are some inferior Saudi plates that might break somehow. In fact, Eleiko says that their bars can only be loaded to 290 Kg with their new thinner plates.

this guy's hands are off the bar when it's at mouth height. wasn't there a rule that you can't release above shoulders?

Regardless if you had a brain, you'd notice he hasn't posted snatch videos for a long time, mostly squats and pulls. He has a small injury
