Godwin got injured at the start of his leg in the 100m. He pulled up like he had a hamstring injury. This kept him out of the 400m and the 4 x 400m hurting Georgia's chances since he is outstanding at the 400 distance. They barely qualified to be in the nationals 4 x 100 anyway and they would have been better off if they'd finished tenth in the East Qualifiers instead of 9th. Then Godwin would not have got hurt. But, that's the way it goes. Their Decathlon ace, Garland even lost the Decathlon to the German who had a freakish discus throw in front of the home crowd. Boling missed the finals in the 200m by .01 so that cost them some points as well.

@@wesleyowens4089 I get it and agree with you objectively but as a whole, it’s not becoming of men to act childish and prideful. The beat down of the result is more than enough.

The commentator is wrong. That look by Jones at the end does not mean "This is my house." Jones is from the Bahamas and it took three teammates to get him that lead. Then there's that little matter about the DQ. Texas Tech finished LAST.

I really hate the posing and taunting by the Texas Tech anchor runner looking back disrespectfully at his opponent. The good news is that after all his showboating his team got disqualified for the first exchange being out of the zone. By the time they passed it the outgoing runner was going a lot faster than other outgoing runners were when they got the baton, so it gave Tech an advantage, otherwise LSU probably would have still beaten them, so the result was fair. And the DQ gave LSU the national championship. What karma. Stop showboating and taunting!! Show some respect for your opponents.

LSU was literally taunting them the entire season. Texas should’ve actually protested the DQ since it’s the baton they can’t be outside the passing zone, which it wasn’t.

Are ur stupid ? 😂🤣 It’s clear you’ve never ran track in your life. They didn’t “cheat” the 2nd leg runner went off to hard and too early which caused him to go over the exchange rule line by inches which is something teams still do even in the Olympics because it’s a split second mistake

I cringed when I saw it. But to be fair, the anchor from LSU has been doing it ALL SEASON. I really believe when the guy from Tech did that, they wanted to disqualify them for unsportsmanlike conduct, so instead they found a lane violation lol
