Yauheni is a dark horse. If he timed that clean and jerk it would’ve gone up. Also, he had more in the snatch. Olympics all or nothing he could be a serious threat honestly

You can see why yauheni highly likely missed that 225, rushed the dip and lost connection to the bar! He made the clean easy though, Liu gonna be near unbeatable in Paris

Liu was great. But that also told you how dominant Kakhi and Sohrab was. 412.5 as 90, 412 as 94, 417 as 94, 416 as 96. Just incredible, all these guys have balls made of diamonds. I believe Liu are capable of 420s-430s. Lets go man you can do it. Liu for 2024 gold.

I wonder how the 109 guys will handle not having a category? I can't imagine them wanting to be in the same group as Lasha and those monsters. But how much damage will it do to try and cut to 102kg?

In weightlifting, specifically during the clean and jerk, touching the knees to the floor would typically be considered a violation of the rules. According to the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) regulations, the clean and jerk requires the lifter to lift the barbell from the ground to the overhead position without allowing the knees to touch the floor.
