Exactly right (to not choose men who haven't chosen us). And if we have ANY confusion at all on where we stand with him, it means he has chosen us alright -- as a PLACEHOLDER. The quicker we can discern their fakery, the better off we are.

Sometimes they pretend to choose you they treat you just like a GF but you things etc but when you ask to confirm his actions if on same page and he switches up and says he’s not rushing anything then what? They come on hot and heavy and acting like your BF then to tell you no? In that case I dumped the communication 🤷‍♀️ if he doesn’t want commitment don’t waste my time

I’d love if you could speak to dating apps and going on first dates. I just started using them again and am located in Southern California. I’m a firm believer of all you speak about and that “if he wanted to he would”, but also I get that sometimes it’s hard only going off of a profile and not actually getting to meet someone and experience their energy in person. Is it ever ok for the woman to make the first move on apps prior to a first date? Or should we always leave that up to a man.

I feel it's the same in Canada. Also, the few times when men have asked me out, I feel no attraction to them. I feel like I have to flirt with a man in order to get anything to happen. There are also instances when guys have asked me out and I respond with interest, but they don't lead, they don't make a plan. What are women supposed to do in those situations?
