Spot on. I believe with Tolkien that friendship (in particular men with other men) is what will save the world.

I do better by myself. I would rather work alone. I go weeks without talking to anyone other than the guys I work with about work.

Maybe that's a good thing. But, maybe you're leaving value on the table.

So hard to find the right bros to put in your corner as you get older and more removed from the social settings that facilitate these bonds and relationships...when you are trying to hold a fulltime job down, upgrade employment skills, be husband, new dad, look after your own physical health and fitness, be there for aging family, etc. The good potential bros are harder and harder to find. Alpha's often don't just compliment people's lives, and as you get older it really is harder to build these relationships as anything meaningful requires meaningful investment. The pursuit of our own priorities and purpose is what separates an alpha, and why it can be more of a challenge to bring the right mix of alpha bros together in the right way to serve our individual selves and society for the better. We can't always have it all in life.

Walking in the woods and looking at the gnarly branches along the way as seasons change grounds our focus to the steady growth and reach arounds to find processes supplied feels like a comforting salve and develop purposeful patterns to carry on together.

I cant find men with the same qualities and interests like mine. Plus, vast majority of men I know are on their own.

It is a pain. I am a follower of Christ, love to talk about the Word. Most of the men around me even Christian men can’t carry a conversation about Christ for more than 5 min.

After I found God my "party friends" no longer showed up because of the changes I made in my life. I now have amazing, loyal male friends from my church. Many of us meet each week to discuss our lives and the word of God. It is indispensable for me and others to meet like this. I still spend most of my time alone, or with my family, but meeting with these men and bouncing ideas off of them and getting correction at times is priceless.
