I’ve been a counselor since 2007 and Must tell you he is spot on. It doesn’t matter what you’re identifying as, we are wired differently, still two brains Mars and Venus. Read the book it’s still gold. Nice video though

I read this book about 2 years ago and i just LOVE the solutions mentioned in the book. So practical. I have seen couples having issues that are described in the book. How could one say it's not worth to read? I have tried a few lessons given and they worked. I think every lesson worth a million if it really improves your life and it DID !!! One of my Favorite books. I highly recommend to everyone.

This book saved my parents marriage. And I'm glad I have read this book because it has helped me tremendoulusly not to snap at women and take them literally as I used to. In fact I gave this book to my gf and she is far more understanding now. I would say this is the greatest love advice to come out in the pre-SJW-everything-is-gay-dont-offened-me-with-violent-language-diversity-over-integrity generation the millenials have brought about.

Anthony Robbins: The most important factor in a relationship is consciously choosing your mate before you get into the relationship. Start by making a list of what you seek in a partner. Then underline your must's. Last, ask yourself: What type of person would I have to become to attract that partner, then set about becoming that person. Men are From Mars women are from Venus Will not help much if you are simply with the wrong partner.

I do not agree with him. First, he has divorced once. Secondly, after you found the one you think she is perfect for you, and after you got into relationship with her, it is very probably you will find her completely different comparing her before a relationship with you, because she now needs and sees you in another way, and at that point you come back and take the advice of this book to make your relationship better.

+LonelyBookaneer Oath to the tone of voice! Over the past 2 years Ive found my girl's tone of voice reveals everything. We were playing a trivia card game the other day and she wpuld read out 3 possible answers to me. By paying attention, I noticed she would put less emphasis on the two answers that weren't right, which would leave me with the correct answer! In real life situations when she asks something like - "Brandon, do you want go to the movies, or the beach?" She already knows exactly what she wants but its up to me to pick the right one xD I listen to her tone of voice yet again, and the order in which she says the options. I swear she always says her perference as the first option... Hehe, girls are funny.

Thank you for this brief on the book. I am reading it now for the first time have avoided because thought it generalised too much. However would agree with common behaviour differences. Though I have known men who would talk all day long so they obviously feel this need too not just women. I like the main points you made as in some ways this book is more complicated than it needs to be. Peoples attitudes can really have a big affect in any relationship not just close relationships which I don't think John Gray goes into.

Good read. Most of the points stated are very relatable but it focuses on what men should do and accommodate rather than what the women should do. Nevertheless, this book will help me in my relationship.

What about attitudes ? We choose to have attitudes and expect others to deal with it. No one has to put up with someone with a bad attitude.
