Two years later, and this song still hits pretty hard.

She was cold and rud with her men but lose them and lose herself during a battle. After that, she had promise herself that she will never return on the battlefield. *Hermes* : a soldier who had lost his true name and his human past. He was continuing searching and hope that he will finding his beloved from his previous life. *Heimdall* : a former soldier who had got a hard mission on his shoulders and had to kill other revenants... because of all his did, he had become a grim reaper for the people of Vein. *Harmonia* : a woman who had been tortured by revenants and found love with the one who saved her. She joined and helped him in his mission. *Isis, Fionn, Scathach* : those three persons had accept an unbearable missions in order to protect their loves one. *Demeter* : a woman who had died in her brother's arms and sacrifice her freedom to feed her people. *Hades* : a soldier who had to kill the monster that his daughter become and protected (or imprisoned) the people of Vein from the world outside. *Ishtar* : a young woman who had got the power to save the world but that power has corrupted her and turned her into a monster. *Eos* : these women were created by a wish to protect those who has been sacrificed... but one of them questioned her purpose and wanted to find her own destiny. *Sorry if there are some mistakes, i'm french*

This is why I wrote this in long comments like that one, to spare me of those annoying comments. Thanks, by the way.

I came back to this song for the nostalgia, and because of how it’s a great song that I adore. But as I sit here listening to it, one thought came to mind. “Sometimes we must look back upon the darkness of our past, to find the light of our future.” I know not what difficulties you face, but fear not. You’ll find your way.

The part with the choir in this is absolutely beautiful.

Code Vein is a great game, I normally don't cry but this game got me really hard I love the story the characters and mostly the soundtracks. For me it's a perfect game, that only those who shall seek for shall find. PS: Thanks for the upload

I remember listening to this through one of my days at school, listening to it all day and when i walked home, that day is forever gonna be a very cherished memory

Most people focus on Io, but do not see who is hiding behind her face. I was pulled into this game by a single image from the trailer/intro video: Cruz, lying on her hospital bed, tears flowing from her eyes. When you look at Io, you see Cruz's face and Karen Amamiya's body and hair (I'm not making it up it's in the official artbook). In the good/true ending, when Io strokes the MC's face, she repeats the scene from the Player's Memory map where the MC defeats the Queen, and in her final moments she strokes the MC's face. It is a shame that it is the only reward we get for accomplishing Cruz's dream that eventually became Io's dream. Hope we'll see her again in Code Vein 2. I also hope that Go Shiina will also return to compose another tear duct-killing soundtrack.

I avoided it for a while because I made the mistake of believing people who said, 'oh it's just anime Dark Souls with jiggle physics.' While that is partially true, it's WAY more than that. Once I started, I basically only put the game down when I absolutely had to and had it down with 100% exploration in just a couple of days. Basically, the DLC super bosses are the only things I haven't done. It instantly became one of my favorite story games.

Code Vein's theme is Sacrifice

When I lost my brother back in January from COVID, I recall to this track and the feels made it worst for me, but at least he’s in heaven safe, god bless us. 😔

I cried when I got to Eva’s memories when I thought I would restore her memories after recovering her vestiges...but I didn’t get that option for I didn’t realized I missed one...I balled my eyes out when I saw her ash pile 😭 Now I’m playing two characters with one to make sure to fully restore all the Successors again and this time for sure restore Eva’s memories, this song is what keeps me going ❤️

@@MasterEldriel It took a couple of days, but I did it. I got the missing vestige that was at the corner at the beginning of the map, found the others, and restored Eva. I cried out of happiness when she and Jack hugged, and when she became an available partner 😊

Had my issues with this game but the soundtrack and the story made it. Still waiting for the second release.

Came back thought i wasnt gonna cry but 2 mi utes in im already bawling😭

I'll say it here and now, the vestiges were a brilliant idea and the person who came up with it, deserves a raise. This double A game has more heart then most triple A, and is more fun and ya know, works! So I pray for a 2, seriously, i truly want a 2.

Vestiges are basically my favourite part of the game.

The challenge wasn't boss, it was the secret ending and the feelings of others. I managed to get that in one run but in return....I lost Io T^T my guidance.

if you got the secret ending, when your character turns in the end and says Io's name, most theories are that io came back out of the tree and will be with you in the secuel. I also believe in that theorie because the tone you character uses when saying Io's name

@@MasterEldriel The character looked up into the sky after walking out of the mist. There's no way in hell Io was standing on the mist, and the opening was too small for it to be anywhere else. The way I see it, Io needs to remain to make sure no one else suffers and that the Queen never returns, though that might be a moot point as your character has the Queen's own blood code after that specific ending.

Looking back on it now, I loved the game enough to make Samus (which is my World Favorite Character). And I don't make her in a game with Character Creation unless I planned on going All-In, which I did with Code Vein, up to the end of the first DLC. By the time it came out, I was already Lv.230 with just about every Weapon and Blood Veil in the game at +9 or +10, and still on Journey-1. Little did I know, I was already nearing the peak of my Power sooner than I wanted to. I nearly had all Gifts for all Blood Codes Unlocked, and only missed one Successor, and by a singular Memory. Nicola will be remembered. When I caught glimpse of the second DLC, it just looked like another Hellfire Knight, but with Ice instead of Fire. I wasn't about to waste my money or my time on that. This was a game me and my friend were actually going to play together, and he was already Lv.215, and just kind'a stopped there. I was looking forward to us fighting Hellfire Knight together. By the time I was prepared for him to join me, he Uninstalled the game. Most of the game was a joke, whenever I played with the Build I put on Samus. My Stamina had several different ways of replenishing, as well as a shorter Cooldown and Reduced Cost. I already had a good pair of Weapons and a very light Blood Veil. I also had several One-Handed Gifts I would often Combo with, as well as a VERY high Ichor Capacity. The only thing that really sucked was my Health, but it certainly made Regeneration a lot more effective. And I used her, partnered up with Io to kill Hellfire Knight. To make Samus, in any game, shows how much dedication I'm prepared to put into it. Honestly, I miss Code Vein, and wish my friend didn't hate it so much. I feel like a PvP Setting would have made it more tolerable for him, and more interesting for me. Imagine seeing "You have been Invaded by Dark Spirit (place Name here)!" on the bottom of your screen all of a sudden, and you get to actually experience how other people actually fight. I'm truly looking forward to getting Elden Ring soon, when I can afford it. Maybe that could be something me and my friend can play together sometime.
