I just assumed this was Automata's version of the song until I read this was actually a cover. I'm even more impressed now, great job on singing in an "unreal" language, not many people can pull this off.

In fact I think the interview quotes I read from Emi Evans (she was the one who wrote the songs, right?) said that she basically just took sounds and syllables from existing languages, and shifted them around in ways that sounded nice. Didn't even necessarily start with a real text, and ESPECIALLY didn't need to construct a whole conlang. The reason why this "Chaos Language" sounds so structured isn't because there's structure there: it's because it's been made by a skillful musician who knows how to make it SOUND like there's structure there.

Same probably weird but some of the resonances in their voices and the pitch they rise at can be quite moving And can make me quiver with emotion so to speak

I love how this song plays in the FFXIV Copied Factory raid, it makes the experience so much better

I always imagine this song playing during an intense sword fight between two different people with two different Ideals. But not your typical sword fight, something more graceful like fencing

I need to say I was clickbaited for the most part, cuz the quality is professional-like. Not many covers have a voice that flows so well with these lyrics. Yet, you made it sound so good I can feel my soul somewhat breathing. I like devola version A LOT and usually use it to sleep, since it makes me feel comfortable and secure. Yours, however, creates a path in my head that leads my thoughts to clarity. I can totally see myself listening to this while looking at the night sky and thinking about my life. What a wonderful cover. Gave me the same chills I felt the first time I listened to the original. Honestly, I think I prefer this version over the original - I really like that the vocal is more on the forefront compared to the original, which was somewhat overwhelmed by the accompaniment. Voice wise, I think it's fair to say that both voices - the cover and the original have their own elegance to the rendition of the song overall. They feel different, but at the same time so similar.

I love that the song is heavy related to the previous game. *SPOILER* Very sad that Devola and Popola are the guardians of humanity and they failed 7000 years ago. In the Automata they have the same goal again and jumped into the battle without hesitation. When I played first, I didn't understand why they risk their life when they were "exiled" because of the previous events.

TaraLPS it's a made up language of like sounds from languages we know like English, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, etc. I think it's supposed to sound like if all those languages had transformed and blended over the years leading up to Nier? At least that's what I kind of remember from trying to figure out what language was being sung when I heard it in Nier all those years ago lol
