I’m catching up with videos now I am back from holiday. So happy you are a Boxer family…..such fond memories of our Ben! He was an enormous brindle dog with a heart to match. Ben was my son’s dog and why my son moved back in with us so did Ben. He was a rescue dog when he was three years old and had had two homes. Poor Ben - shoved out when a baby arrived and then rehomecto an elderly couple who couldn’t cope with a very lively young boxer. But he found his forever home with my son and was the most wonderful pet. He was such a handsome boy.xx Liz

How lovely..great memories..I did the same as you at a Celine Dion concert at the 02 arena.. couldn't cope with the height and they moved our seats ..I was nearly crying ..

Hello Maria👋 Memory lane is the best! Your dog Bruno is super cute and adorable 🐶I love watching Irish dancing too! And I'm the same with heights, hun, absolutely petrified 😅. Lovely memories many thanks for sharing, I am the same with heights several years ago me and my husband went on an organised trip to the O2 to see Franki Valli we were on the fourth floor and were both terrified we really enjoyed the concert but we didn’t dare move❤️👍🏻

Oh Maria, Boxers❤ I love them all! My son had a rescue Boxer but sadly at the age of just 3 years old due to a tumour in the brain it was the worst to watch him go downhill so fast 😢 but I’m so pleased your Boxer lived a good old age bless him and I can see he was loved so much. I work for an animal rescue centre and have seen so many sad and happy stories but glad their are people like ourselves who are animal lovers❤ thanks for the memories

Nice memories Maria. I agree with you about not having so many pics of our chidren when they were young except ones taken with a camera. It is so easy nowadays to just pic up the phone immediately and snap the moment before it passes. Happy times.xx

Maria lovely memories. We had a Rottweiler called Bruno he was 18months old when we rescued him - such lovely soft boy who we had in our lives until he was 15 years old - still miss him even after 5 year.

Morning Maria. That rain is awful. Really depressing but so many lovely memories to cheer us all up. We used to have a boxer dog called Prince when i lived at home. He definitely ruled the roost. My hubby will be 70 this year and I'd love to do something special. Bit awkward as it's on Xmas day and he doesn't do birthdays ! Thank you for sharing your memories xx

Hi Maria, I remember going to a show in Glasgow years ago, we arrived early and sat in the dark watching the audience arriving. It was hilarious. The were holding onto each other’s coats as theywent down the steps. We up in the Gods. Most of them were terrified. 😂

Hello Maria, just loved the chat. I don’t put pictures on Instagram either. I am like you I don’t like heights I have been to the theatre where we have sat what we called ‘up in the gods’ and I felt like I was falling trying to get to my seat it was awful. Don’t get me started about the weather I have yet to wear any of my summer dresses and like you have been using my throw in the evenings over my legs. What a lovely thing to do for your daughter to club together so that she can go to Greece for your holiday you will all have a super time together. Thanks for sharing.❤️❤️

Hi Maria Typical Uk weather. I worked with someone years ago who was terrified of thunder. She was admitted to hospital and one day she head thunder so sho got out of bed and went underneath it. The nurses were looking for her but she went to explain what had happened lol..My cousin was brought up with boxers and they are gorgeous wee dogs. I don’t like heights Maria. This is why I don’t go near anything to do with heights. Such lovely stories and especially your dads. I miss both my parents. I was 26 when my father passed. The people were outside the day of the funeral as there was no room outside. It’s nice to have family around you you especially on holiday. All the best Rhian xx
