Lovely vlog. Was in Home bargains yesterday and saw the sign pay with card when you can. So i got cash out. This push for a cashless society is wrong. My poor neighbour only has cash she is 80 and its not fair

Really enjoyed your vlog Maria. I love Cirencester. I use to go swimming there once a week when I lived in Fairford. I use to go with a friend of mine that drove a mini. On the way home we would stop at a farm to pick up a bale of hay for her horses. You should see us trying to squash the hay onto her back seat 😅

No two days weather is the same Maria. Summer! Yes your right about the roads it's the council saving money probably. I've been to cirencester many years ago it does look lovely there. You will enjoy working less days nice to have some more time to do things you want to. ❤

Know what you mean about the roads and verges. Our roads by us are so full of weeds looks really untidy. The grass has seeded in the gutters will eventually block the drains. I have family in the Texas it’s so clean and tidy out there .Think UK looks very bad for tourists.

You have talked about one of my real hates…..parking machines. Cash is still king but hell are we having to fight for it! My son rolls his eyes at me on a regular basis as I go “off on one”! He just never carries cash and has all the parking apps on his phone. I was delighted though on an occasion when the machines were not working for card payments or apps and there was no potion for cash. That car park lost a fortune that day! I must be one of the old folks you mentioned😂😂😂. Suppose at 75 I am! Have to admit that I am soon flashing my card for online shopping. You could say….double standards! Xx Liz

That was a lovely relaxing video to watch Maria, I’m glad you’re enjoying your extra days off and making the most of it with your family. You really do suit eyeliner it gives you that finished look. I’m glad someone else rants over car parks and their sometimes confusing payment system. They want apps or cards I haven’t got it annoys me to death I’m always hovering about waiting for a youngster to sort me out 😀. Xx

You mentioned overgrown hedgerows etc. - a motorcyclist was killed near my parents' village as a driver couldn't see him when pulling out of a junction due to overgrowth 😢
