And you're right, it's time for it to change, it's in fact long over due - if we are to keep a healthy planet to live on, which will in turn ensure a healthy spirituality to bloom. I honestly believe more Indian gurus and other spiritual teachers need to learn to communicate in English like Sadhguru as it will help to bridge the eastern and the western world. I personally believe true knowledge is in the east and applied knowledge in the west. The west is more focused on the physical world and applied knowledge. If the east is the spirit west is the body, they need to learn to work together.

Very true. At least, if we see human beings as one unit and if it comes to terms with how to solve world problems in an appropriate manner with way more sensibility to all lives, to all existence. So that we can still act without causing damage to existence and keep the balance in tact. But in the end your must understand its all about individuals. Even u with the knowledge now can bring a change. It starts small but spreads wider and wider and will become a big movement. Thats Sadhgurus beautiful vision actually. Such a big vision, almost like when people came out with revolutionary concepts as capitalism, etc....but this one can only have positive effects, because u wont harm anything. Cosmic identity 😊. But dont see it as fullfilling his vision. He just had an impact on u by making u strive more towards clarity of perception of life, so turning inwards. U will become a beautiful human being by urself, because ur perception of life is such. Now whatever ure gonna do and decide, will anyways bring well being to u but also to everyone and everything around u. Thats the way to live. To create a beautiful world.

That’s so true to an Indian. In India we believe the sole cause of our suffering is our memory. Culturally, when some one become a disciple of a Guru he/she has to go through a process which symbolizes a rebirth with no memory of their past life. They have to stay away from home, they cannot express affection to their loved once (people like father, mother, brother, sister), and they are given a new name. Even after becoming a disciple they are sent to their parents house to gather alms. Then only the person can go through the process of attaining consciousness.

Only the people who disgraced or destroy the reputation of India (Hindus) only got it. So Sadguru being India's pride always upholds Indian spiritual values very less chance of getting nobel prize. It's called Nobel peace prize but it's awarded only to those people who destroy peace

Sadhguru's explanation is exactly what I sense to be right. I've had a difficult time talking to others about consciousness since they mostly insist on confusing Consciousness with wakefulness (as Sadhguru says) or awareness. I understand Consciousness as the fabric of experience. I think of thought as a tool, as the way we explain our experiences to ourselves.

If we people of the world listening, “just listening” to him while he is speaking, our life will be a life, not only an action of surviving with sufferings. I’m not completely changed in my lifestyle, but I feel that I’m getting closer to understand my life better and better any time I do listening to him and never get tired of his speeches. Consciousness is another dimension of intelligence. Love you sadhguru. Now I can see that because wakefulness is closely related to the body and mind, and of the body(brain) hence it is the reason why people suffer anxiety and depression, fear and greed. Consciousness is ultimate intelligence and one being aware of him self. Consciousness is body and mind killer. Be Consciously here and active and be ecstatic. The more you get subjected in the brain the further you move from reality and what is truth.

It's the man who is asleep that give rise to the dream creation, the dream image thinks the dream is their doing, but if the dream image is in sync with the sleeping man who is having the dream from the content of his mind then the dream image can enjoy n have a perfect experience in the dream. Consciousness and the wakeful man is like that too. Some few things the wakeful man manages to get right but if he is in sync with the doer that is consciousness wakeful state will be more interesting.

They both said very little in my opinion simply cause they did not want to break Sadhgurus speech, not cause they had nothing to say. One of them was making notes which is usually during debate to touch on some points after the person finish his speech, but he never used them. Those jokes like "just to make sure we all understand" shows just how at least a bit confused they was. Yes i can listen Sadhguru for hours and those gentlemans too but i think they was expecting something different and theyre body language shows that too. Dont know, just my observation.

There's nothing new about thoughts, nobody has a thought that's something anyone has ever heard of before.
