@@triple7marc The student has to have at least a reasonable level of hand and finger coordination. I few years ago I tried piano and was actually dropped by the instructor. I even still owed him for a prior lesson but he wouldn't schedule me for any more lessons because he recognized it was a waste of his time. My hands just can't do it.

I work in a senior care facility w/ a memory care unit. 1 resident taught himself how to play the piano. He can pick up a tune and play it on the piano as if he knew every key and cord his entire life. The 1 song he plays so majestically is this 1. If I wasn't so scared 2 sing in public I'd join in while he played bc I've always loved this song. I told him 1 day I will and he was so happy. It's on my list now.

Every day I come home from a long work day of a rude hostile nutty world, people, politics and our crumbling country and I listen to this, and I feel calm, centered and restored.

I play the piano and I know how much passion, energy, concentration, persistence, and hard work is required to attain such expertise. He is a master in the body of a young man.

So beautiful and this makes me feel very emotional. I would like to dedicate this to a man who passed away a few days ago. Hope this will release him from whatever he was suffering from and this will let him rest in peace.
