Fantastic railfan adventure. Looks like you guys had a great time together. Love that BNSF local with the shoving platform (ei caboose) attached. Saw a few leave the yard in Tulsa, OK like that. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your new son and best wishes to the family.

Theirs always a CN SD75i in the lead, an Illinois Central SD60, and a Wisconsin Central GP38-2 all in original colours too. Every now and again we get a CN GP38-2 and CN GP-9 for yard switching, and once I seen a CN Blue Devil Dash-9. That's all we get cool, and our trains are between 10 and 40 cars, and only 3 kinds of rail cars too, tank cars, gondola cars and covered hoppers, you're lucky man.

Wow great catches, I love those GP-30s, especially the one in BN scheme and that caboose. In Canada the GP-30 is very rare, I know CP bought only 6, and I'm unaware of CN buying any. Or later on when CN bought IC, and CP bought Soo Line if those two companies had GP-30s, or their numbers. Also nice ex-SP locomotive, and the two trains side by side, where I live is where BC Rail, now CNs line ends, we do get 3 max 4 trains per week, with the same three locomotives, although rarely exiting.

Your opening shot was so pristine I thought you were filming on a model layout. Even the clouds are "picture perfect"! Very nice footage indeed. Thanks for sharing with us. "vationam" is the bot blaster word that came up for this post. Wonder what it means in KZread alien language? LOL

Nice , but i think you should have cut out a lot of the cars. too long and kind of boring if you know what i mean. just show the beginning, then the middle if there was another engine and the end of the train . then move on to the next and so on.
