If you are in the process of building a membership site, there are a lot of consideration that go into choosing the platform and software that goes into it. There are a lot of options. A lot of Wordpress plug-ins. A lot of hosted platforms. It can be quite confusing to wade through it and know what the best option is.
In this free training video, I'm going to talk about:
- The 4 primary components to your blog-based membership site
- 2 VERY different approaches to content protection (and how they compare)

Hi, David. I would love to know your experienced opinion on *Ontraport* for all of it: not only for a Membership Site + CRM + Email Marketing + eCommerce & Payment Gateway + Landing Pages integration capability as an "all in one", but for Long Term Sustainable Growth for a small business so that we don't need to plug in (what feels like!) a gazillion apps, features, different systems to create Tags, etc, all the time... When I compare cost to cost comparisons based on the # of contacts and full-feature capabilities, it's starting to make a lot more sense to me for Long Term Growth instead of keeping my Leadpages (which I love) + Drip + all sorts... I look forward to your response. Kristen

Is it possible to start with a cheaper version of it, for instance using Drip and Membermouse at the very beginning and switch to the big four when I have a solid client base? Any thoughts about it?

Where do users actually log in to your site. Is it through the standard WP user log in system or does one of the apps control it with a form or other ?

Hi David, very interesting video! Thanks for sharing your experience. I plan to use WPFusion with my CRM and payment system. However, I don't plan to use a specific tool like Convertbox for my leads as I already have Fluent Forms (an advanced form plugin that has a direct integration with my CRM). What would I miss in simply using Fluent Forms rather than Convertbox? Thanks for your insights :-).

Probably just the two-way integration such as being able to control where a form shows up based on tags. Although, FluentCRM is coming out, too, which may end up solving that one. We shall see. :)

Hi, If WP Fusion is not a membership plugin, how can you protect your content?

WP Fusion protects content beautifully by tag. But, since it does not manage accounts for members, I don't consider it a membership site plug-in.
