Thank you very much. Noticed in the comment below you said you use "Arteza Drawing Pad, 9" x 12"" I've found multiple selections. Is it the "heavy weight"

While I have done some fairly good portraits I'm proud of I think the struggle for me is not sticking through it when in the early stages of my drawing. To me it looks so ugly at times or I don't see the portrait coming along that it makes me start over or wanna start over to the point I wanna give up on it and now I'm trying older faces (my mom) and things like the age lines around the eyes and etc just throws me off I feel like I can't draw it I can't even get to the shading part of my drawing.

Which part Will show the expression of the face please tell me you are explaining is excellent
