Been at Roadburn show same year in April, and yes my mind explode AF!!It was the very first time when i saw them.16 years later I didn't seen better show than that.And i mean not only Melvins!8))

I've watched the cuts of A History of Bad Men and Civilized Worm from this concert so many times, never saw the whole thing though. So awesome. I love that Dale sneaks in Pressed Rat and Warthog lyrics in Sky Pup. Awesome.

One of my all-time favorite KZread show with the Melvins. This show is fucking amazing.

I saw them twice on this tour and they were really on every night. But , this show was fucking outrageous!

The bass tones on this recording are outstanding. Definite bass tone goals right here.

Best band in the history of bands!

All I hear is positive honesty & integrity among musicians. (As it should be)! This bands music lifts me up. LOVE THE MELVINS!!!!

I'm Norwegian myself and I totally agree that the concert culture here is dull, especially during festivals, where genuine fans tend to be in the minority. Compare this behaviorally conformist, hip modern festival crowd to, say, the Salad of a thousand delights live footage from the early 90's, it's like comparing night and day. Maybe it has something to do with a generation gap in addition to cultural differences, and a difference between intimate gigs and stadium festivals as well.

Holy shit, this set cleared my sinuses and put some pep in my step.

ahhhh i have to see the melvins live before i die.

Parley P. Cat Open air festivals can be long, like a marathon, I was at Lollapalooza and had to "endure" Lush, Ice Cube, and also Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and so like 6 bands later I got to see Ministry and the Chili Peppers....But if you check the end of this video, they got a great ovation from people that weren't necessarily there to see the Melvins ....I don't think they were bummed in general, as a whole, but sure it's a long open air festival not everyone was going to be thrilled to see them, but by the ovation they didn't disappoint. Great show actually in my opinion, would have loved to see it.

No, I didn't want to skip anyone but maybe Ice Cube lol......I loved Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.....but honestly, Ministry was the best overall in my opinion. They played at night, had hundreds of strobe lights aimed at the crowd, AL was riding on towers made of bones, and they were LOUD and tight, some people had to move backwards lol.....when I said "endure" it was a joke my friend!

What a crowd !! Their blood is horchata

Dale Crover IS still the only person who is capable of playing this stuff Cuz nobody else understands Buzz the way he interprets his own style. I’m guessing if Neil Peart were still with Us? Umm 🤔 Maybe. Lombardo did do Fantomas with him and Mike Patton, but there’s something about the MELVINS that isn’t written in any musical manual I know of. And this is why I’ve been following this band since I’ve heard their Lysol 💿 So for 33 years now and after 28 x’s seeing their show live I can honestly say that this IS the heaviest act I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing at 56 years old since Black Flag in attitude & Sabbath as far as how punishing their delivery is. Nirvana borrowed a few tricks ya bet your arse on that one ☝️! Dave Grohl’s nowhere near the same ballpark when it comes to things he’s doing on his 🥁 s and doesn’t even understand the unorthodox way he has complete control over his set up; nary taking a breath until Buzz slows it down for a few milliseconds! They’ve been in before anybody ever was. And as the other guys are trying to figure out just what they’re doing? Too late, they’ve already moved onto a brand new style nothing the likes of what anyone has ever seen; let alone catching up to them! totally wrong crowd that's for sure. the Melvins was called in as a last minute filler for another band that cancelled (the hold steady) , and they played as first or second act at 3pm when most of the rockaudience was hungover from the night before
