Hey Resentone, what's your thoughts on Nanaya's voice? I think the voice actor, Ryōsuke Kanemoto, does a great job of portraying this sly, smug, slayer of the supernatural. He gives Nanaya a calm but subtlety sinister tone that contrasts nicely with Tohno's loud yet compassionate observations that he has for his friends, opponents, and surroundings. Also how is Nanaya as a boss in the Boss Rush mode? Is he a cake walk or does he suffer from SNK Boss Syndrome? And by the way dude I left a comment in the Mugenguild forums that contains a link that has updated patch notes for the entire cast of Type Lumina, along with some other questions that I have regarding the upcoming characters, Phonon and Enigma Hyde.

@@tabkg5802 Now that i think about it, the TATARI's powers of making rumors and fears manifest to a certain extent is a lot like Persona 2's plot. Nanaya is kinda Shiki's "Shadow", and "Alaya" is a concept in both franchises too.

If they do add him.. I really hope they make him distinct like in the previous games. The only thing they ever shared was a knife and the uniform, but from the face to the voice they were entirely different to get the point across better. As it is right now - he's more like Tohno roleplaying as Nanaya rather than actually being Nanaya.

They're literally the same person though, it makes sense for them to look the same just with different expressions and personality tbh. I agree with you completely though they should at least have different physical characteristics, maybe give him different styled hair, different colored eyes, etc

it makes no sense for him to sound or look any different though, aside from clothing choice there's nothing to distinguish them because they're literally the same person. The personality is what matters and you can tell that just from the why he speaks as Nanaya compared to as Tohno

To be fair, Nanaya in the previous Melty was a manifestation from the night of Tatari. It makes sense that he would look a little more distinct than the one in TL. Same thing with Warc.

Well if P.Ciel is anything to go off of, they'll probably give him a new moveset to differentiate from his classic Melty counterpart. Hell, they might even throw him in those casual clothes that Shiki always wears in the VN, but never in Melty.

@@skunthundler Powered Ciel is remade because of the Remake. Shiki Nanaya will probably have lightning and gravity magic, though Nanaya won’t be the same Nanaya. MB’s was a fake Shiki, this is the real Shiki Nanaya, though they might save it for Red Garden, since they might think it’s a spoiler for Red Garden (he’s getting more in it as well.) It is Shiki Tohno’s real name, after all.

@@mrharvy100 Dead Apostle Noel is barely even close to Noel lol Powered Ciel gameplay wise is also completely different and Red Arc is the closest to her original self but still I think she's different enough. Nanaya is just literally Shiki again with cool new moves that normal shiki now kinda gets with the Nanaya install lol I'd be fine with him if he were more different though, like the commenter above you brought up.

@@megabumbusta2746 moveset wise, nanaya's moves would have different properties. he isn't really shiki again as you mentioned because while the 2 are a bit similar, nanaya install doesn't cover everything that nanaya particularly has.
