She seemed more fun than other girl for Jennifer
Jennifer Jason Leigh would have been better the better choice. She's Stacy from Fast Times at Ridgemont High!

They definitely should have kept Melora. Heck yes. She is such a dreamboat and a gem. The actress they went with is so forgettable , I didn't even notice until rewatching years later that she had been replaced in the sequels.
