Incredible voice. I checked MeloMance because the pianist was part of Sea of Hope and got super surprised with the singer.

Melomance is a hidden gem for the international fans. I love how effortless he sounds while hitting all of those notes perfectly with once breath and stability.

CRIMINALLY underrated singer, even in his home country. Thanks for doing the lord's work and spreading the word!

He's got a super unique voice and I've always felt that his voice is perfect for Jazz genre :)

MeloMance is a duo with one vocalist, Minseok, and one pianist, Donghwan (who shows up near the end and dances a little lol). Minseok always kind of sings like it’s very low effort for him to be that good. I believe his aunt is a classically trained singer and he graduated from the Seoul Institute of Art in applied music.

Yup…he can sang sang!!!! The other member is the piano player. Stands flat footed and SANGS!!!! His name is Kim Min Seok The song you asked for is called “Gift”. I started listening to their music after I heard them sing this on an award show in 2017.

Min Seok shared in YHY Sketchbook previously that he was kinda trained by his aunt (one reason why he does not frown when singing) and he also majored in voice (possibly applied music?) during college in Seoul Institute of the Arts. I’ve often seen them on Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook and they randomly show up in dramas (I can’t remember which ones on the top of my head). But even with all that I never paid much attention to them, besides knowing their name and faces, up until your reaction, so thanks for a better introduction.

I saw them for the first time in 'Because this is my first life' they were also recently in 'Business Proposal'!

To be honest how we cannot fall in love with his voice 🎶 He is my favourite male singer for 2022 and years !!

The “e” vowel sound you mentioned during the performance at the 14:20 to 14:30 mark is actually a vowel unique to Korean. The English equivalent sound is the “oo” in book or look or shook. It’s a pretty vowel and definitely a learning curve to anyone trying to study the Korean Language.
