Hi, I have a mellow soul track for you this time.
It is in the key of G minor, but it might work better if you think of it as Bb major. Please experiment with it.
enjoy!

■ About the Channel
Hello.
This video is a backing track I made for guitar improvisation.
Please use it for your guitar practice.
I made this backing track with the aim of making it more realistic, for example, by daring to make the rhythm stagger.
I am sure you will be able to transition to the actual jamming without any discomfort.

You do start in Gm, but the tonality is Dm (F) - Great progression!

I can't hear this being in G minor, it's very solidly in D minor to me. Short example kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5uGqatxeNWZpLQ.html I'd like to hear an example solo in G minor :)

Of course, you are correct in your thinking. As for this time, I meant that I wrote it in a G Dorian way. It's similar to when you play so what, you don't play it as aeolian.

@@SamuraiJamTracks G Dorian would mean that the G note would be a harmonic center - OK maybe that would be doable for the A part. But then the B part, there are multiple chromatic alterations which means it can absolutely not be classified as modal. It's more like classic common period tonality, with dominant A7 and even a secondary dominant D7.

You're right. I should have labeled it D-Minor or G-Dorian.
