You have to understand something, there are things that if you take it out of it's OG language it would make absolutely no sense, you should have the knowledge and culture of the OG country if you want to enjoy stuff they produce fully, that's why, dub is trash. Always watch in OG except some very rare cases. Thank you.

You have to realise here, meliodas is only playing around with escanor. He lost because he underestimated escanors power, but only because he lost his memories. Meliodas knows what escanor is capable of, but due to his lost memories this led to his defeat

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@vegboylokesh7778thats because he used the rest of his life force to power himself up against the demon king. Remember escanor had a limit, thats separates him from the demon king. Meliodas however is a different story. He knew how to fight against escanor as he was the one to calm him down should he lose control of his powers. But because meliodas lost his memories during this episode and reverted back to the meliodas he was when he led the commandments, he just played around with escanor, not taking him very seriously.

Meliodas can ☠️, the only reason Meliodas didn’t was because he didn’t know who Escanor was, and thus immediately underestimated him. That was a character trait of ten commandment Meliodas.

Honestly Melascula should be a cockroach instead of a snake. Only thing that's kept her alive so far is plot armour. Also yeah, the drop in animation quality was very noticeable in this episode. But nothing we can do about it now. Just gotta enjoy the story for what it is.
