Another gem from a our collection of Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan Saab's mehfil, this one was in Toronto, Oct 8th 1986. Ustad Tari Khan is accompanying on tabla, I can't recall the name of this superb harmoniam maestro,(my apologies) I know it was not Ustad Mohammed Hussain. In any case enjoy this famous ghazal, penned by Great poet of our time Parveen Shakir.

One of the finest gazal ever written and sang in sub continents. Gazalon ka Badshah Ustad Mehndi Sahab ka koi jabab nahi. Classical gazal me inka koi sani nahi pure sub continents me. Jitni tareef ki jai kam hai.

Itney achhey Gazals sunaney ke baad Pakistan visit karne ki khwaaish hoti hai. Magar , ab health ke chalte mumkin nahi hai. 🎉🎉❤❤
Mehdi Hassan saheb is the best gazal singer in the world.

Buhot khub.mahadi hassan is the Great Singer In the World..un ki yaad ke unmat naqush hamaysha yaad rahain ge. Inlillah hay wa inaallhae rajayoun.Ameen. Pakistan ka who Aik Sarmaya ( Assat) tha.)Thanks.
