Ustad Mehdi Hassan each ghazal is a master piece itself that can not be matched by anyone elsel Mehdi Hassan sings each note with perfection without any flaws. His voice touches the heart and soul of the listeners. Mehdi Hassan sahib is music and music is Mehdi Hassan. May Allah have mercy on his soul.

Any idea who is the tabla nawaz in this? The theka is so so perfect and the tempo impeccably matches Khan saheb's _laey_ . Not even one _summ_ is mismatched or oddly placed. Also, I've seen some tabla players to dominate over the vocalist and/or try to be too upbeat than is required. This tabla is just perfect! It has to be Ustad Pir Bukhsh saheb.

@@alanlazarus477 infect you’re absolutely correct in pointing out that that indeed has to be Pir Baksh ji whom we all grew up to know and call Peeru, because that’s what mehdi sb would affectionately call him. He infact and not taari, was his lifelong tabla accompanist. Thankyou so much for correcting and reminding me.

arun kumar ji... see ghancha .ie. buds of any flower or you can say phool k patte jo khile huey ho or sundar se hon ab 'ghuncha -e- shok' means shok aisa ki phoolon ki nayi pattiyon jaisa. ab poori line ka mtlb hua.. ghuncha e shok lga hai khilane means shayar kehta hai yahan ki wo byan kr rha hai ek person ka ek manzar jab wo bhawna mein behkar phir aa jata pyar krne k liye tab.... use aisa shok khilne ya man se ubharne lgte hain jaise ki wo ek phool ki nayi aur sundar pattion jaisa ho, mtlb naya naya sa, utsahit sa, umangit sa shok usko phir umad umar k aane lge hai *phir tujhe yad kiya din ne* age kehta hai ki isi shok aana ki wahaj se phir use apne kisi khas ki yad aane lgi hai

Pakistan is notorious for neglecting everyone but Army Generals......even the legendary wrestler Gama suffered much and had it not been for the Indian businessman GD Birla, he would have suffered even more

someone has uploaded the video version also but the quality is not good. There is another one also, I had bought audio cassette but unfortunately the recording is bad, I think it has been recorded from an old audio disc and at many places the stylus was getting stuck.
