Although Mehdi Hassan wasnt giving it his best he wasnt serious but he did do well over here. Good for him, Id much rather see him debate with seriousness

The problem here is that the 'opponents' of MH are often unclear or uncertain of their positions, hesitating and lacking conviction - especially the first two. MH is good at what he does, speaks very quickly (as usual) but this exercise doesn't prove you can 'win' every argument - just appear to do so temporarily. The test is fun to watch, but that is about as much as you can say.

@@burgermind802 Turns out that his hit on Matt was based largely on misinformation...also he didn't actually address the core tenet of the Twitter files; ie, the state is directly involved in manipulating and/or censoring speech behind the scenes on public forums...but as Hasan has proven time and again he is a willing tool for power, his lack of interest on that subject should come as no surprise.

I recently saw his session with Vivek Ramaswamy. It was very disgusting to watch media spokespersons like him trying with every ounce of their minds to extract a non-existent point of fault with possibly the most forward and very articulate republican, just for the sake of "winning the argument". Its even more cringey to see it done for the furthering of democratic agenda. Winning an argument is a fool's shortcut to quick public appeal and pseudo-respect which wanes as soon as any knowledgeable person takes them to the toaster. What should have been uplifted is the virtue of unbiased media and critical thinking and a teeny bit of common sense and sense of situation. It can go a long way to show the person's deep standing honesty and loyalty to his/her scruples.

I'm not sure how much of a free-speech fan I am. Quick answer I'm a fan of free speech. Docters are one example if they say I don't have cancer and the cancer kills me they should be held to account. if they say in there professional opinion I don't have cancer then that could be accurate and they may have used due diligence. Someone could also give their opinion. I'm a doctor you don't have cancer when their doctorate is in archeology . As far as I know I don't have cancer but this analogy makes my point well.
