Thanks very much for the detailed review! We apologize for the issue you’ve been through and the comprehensive feedback you collected in the video. Please allow me to respond for some of the issues and see how we can improve the product to better fit the purposes of gamers. Upon checking the video, it seems that the test is based on firmware version v100. The most up-to-date version is V103(rfV108 mledV102). We did receive other reports for the flickering LED issues so it should have been resolved with the subsequent release. Nonetheless, we should have pushed that firmware in a timely manner (instead of asking users to manually load the updater) so that users would be aware of any changes. The latest firmware shall also improve the rapid trigger performance. To disable RGB instantly, you can use Fn + L as short-cut. Regarding the calibration, users will need to calibrate the keyboard once upon receiving the keyboard. The keyboard performs auto-calibration every 6 hours so theoretically there should be no more manual calibration unless users perform firmware upgrade (normally once a month). We do appreciate any feedback on improving our hall effect line-up. Thanks again for the honest review in such a comprehensive scope from exterior to the interior! It means a lot to us.

Hey Akko, I have the Akko MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon. I want to know how to bind the gamepad functions? There isn't a video on it, and no one knows how, as well as, there is no documentation on the matter. I wrote a support ticket a few days ago, but no reply

I have this same keyboard and even though I do agree with some of the opinions you have to a point, like the fact that sakura pinks are better sounding even though a lot of people like the cream yellow's sound profile too, the way you say "sakura pinks are a thousand times better" over and over and saying the sound on this keyboard is bad which it isn't, or that the font is too Chinese-looking when this is a keyboard celebrating the year of the dragon from the actual Chinese horoscope which some people actually like is so subjective but you want to make it sound like this is a bad keyboard and for noone out there. You complain about the problems your board with the RGB from the start, when if you had contacted Akko they would have helped you with them and you could have given us a better informed opinion on the board with the corrections you made later as a comment as part of the video but that clearly wasn't your intention. People are looking for honest reviews and comparisons not someone saying this is not a Wooting 80 which is more expensive and not even out yet or you putting a picture of the nuphy Field75 which is 170$ and isn't even hall effect and saying it is a better option than this, how are those fair comparisons? The most absurd part is when you say there are a 100 Hall Effect keyboards out there? Where? Maybe 15-20 tops, how many that have a 75% form factor? less than half of that maybe, without counting upcoming ones, lots of which are more expensive. This are facts and you are plain lying, why should we believe anything else you say? you are clearly exaggerating, "A billion times better" "Hundreds of Hall Effect keyboard options" This isn't a fair review, if I was Akko or for that matter any other brand I wouldn't send you anything anymore. There are ways of being critical whilst staying professional and you sir don't know how to do that.

I think the reason he said there were hundreds of options is because as a reviewer he sees the large number of boards in the pipeline that he has been offered for testing. And I agree with you that most are not 75%. I own this board and I personally think it's beautiful. However, none of those things really change the value of many of his suggestions and opinions. I personally welcome and appreciate reviews like this even if I don't agree with every point he makes.

Regular cream yellows already sound mid. These just sound even worse

Do you have any evidence that the Akko MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon does not have 8K scanning? Because @jerrorr proved that the Monsgeek M1W HE scans at 8000Hz in his review.

the plastic case version of this same board is on amzn US with the pink sakura switches for just 120. for that price, this is a great option.

Really detailed review! Would be more entertaining if you could include more b roll footage injected between your review. Like in game footage when ur talking abt rapid trigger, or some other footage explaining actuation points.

Will you do a review of ATK RS7? Since you showed a picture of it, lol. Cause nobody done a video about it at all, and I don't know is it worth my money and attention.

I bought the huntsman v3 pro mini a few months ago, but I hate the 60% layout, and the software is unusable. I don't feel like waiting 3 months for the 80he, and I've been thinking about getting a drunkdeer a75 and the aluminum case for it and building it myself. Does jakeu approve?

DD A75 Pro is what you are looking for. I would get one since it's one of the only other 75% boards with HE/RT

Wow, this is such a great video! Easily the best, most comprehensive review I've seen on this board! I have mine and absolutely love mine. My board looks, feels, sounds, and performs great for me and I have no plans to buy another board in the near future. Great review!

such a shame cause visually this is one of the nicest looking boards out on the market... might be worth harvesting the keycaps (unless akko start selling them seperately)

TBH HE keyboards are made to perform not to look/sound good. Although Meletrix Boog75 is the only HE keyboard that actually sound great

Performance and Rapid Trigger are definitely the main selling points, but since this keyboard came with two plates (one of them being FR4), it's clear that they targetted this at the enthusiast community wanting to optimize this board for themselves - therefore I can't see who this keyboard is for if not even that has been achieved here to satisfy those customers. If this board would solely be sold as a HE board with no sound improvement features or similar, I definitely wouldn't have talked about it nearly as much.

@@jakeufps I heard it's an updated PCB? There's also two versions of the cream switches, do you know which one you got? The newer one has a bigger magnet or something? Edit: apparently the updated cream switches have a different spring and "better" lubed
