Getting close to the end now! One more tonight, one tomorrow morning, and then the megatest scoring on Sunday at 10am! It's been a good week and I think people have really enjoyed the multi video format, it's a lot of work though to video them all in one go.

Another interesting test once this one is completed, is to try the winner against a number of compounds by hand rather than machine as my gut feeling is that compounding a small area by hand may still be better than these products. Either way really enjoying this set of videos… thanks for the time and effort you are putting in for us all.

I'm glad Scratch X and G3 are side by side when it comes to the overview as I still think G3 maybe has the edge but you've had a better view!! Knew Scratch X was decent - good product for someone maybe not confident to correct with a machine but has one or 2 defects that are just irritating them!

You've seen it spot on yet again.

I was hoping scratch x would be fairly decent, like someone else said G3 and scratch x are the leading two at the moment 👍👍👍

Another product on my shelves . Not used it in ages but remember it wasn't bad . Strangely I used T Cut today on marks on my fathers caravan , took ages to remove black marks which I didnt remember it doing before . Must of changed the blend of it

Autobrite Renew was another one I tried on the caravan too

Regularly use this on my da3 as it's great for localised damage. Think this one will come out on top over all. 👊

I was certainly one of my go-to products. Really good work time which is a massive bonus now I've seen some of the others available.

@@DetailingandtheBeast exactly that, the work time is great on machine. Obviously not the point of your video, but it translates across to two.

Please do this test (with Meguires Scratch X 2.0) on varying types of scratches: Fine scratch (very light, like the scratches fingernails make). Light scratch (like a belt buckle would make, just scraping against the paint). Medium scratch (slightly deeper than a light belt buckle scratch). All scratches: Fine/Light/Medium, still not through the clear coat, with maybe one slightly deeper scratch that just barely goes through the clear coat, and can just barley be felt with the fingernail depth test. Thank you!

Can this be used as a regular Polish?

I would have liked to have seen an IPA wipe over because I don't believe any of those products are worth buying. There's minimal scratch removal and plenty of fillers in most of them. The use of a compound is the only way to remove scratches and swirls permanently

If you watch Sundays megatest, you see results after exactly that, and I guarantee you that some of the tested products are worth buying :) You are correct with the compounding comment but if you watched the original set up video you'll hear me explain that not everyone is confident doing machine work, and that most of these are sold as "hand use" so will be tested in that capacity. 😉

@@DetailingandtheBeast You're correct that some of the brands contain fillers, however, Dave made it perfectly clear in all the descriptions of each product so far what their limitations are and i think going off the comments from others they agree with the way the tests are going. But whichever way any detailer takes the time to test and produce videos for us novices they'll always be someone who has a different opinion and long may it continue as it always helps us in trying different products.

I found using their products very oily and on their wax it to ages to buff off and I was finding smears for days

are you using a brand new microfiber towel, the one that they recommend? or just any towel?

@@crazycressy7986 try using the towel that come with it. when you use a microfiber towel just use it for that specific product dont use the same towel for cleaning interior, tires etc. i never had a problem with smears just wipe it really good

@@TheYoungAze all my towels are colour coded ,when your detaining a 25k truck you don't mix towels, and its mit washed with 7 different mits and not the 2 bucket method

I’ve been not watching on purpose to save them up lol
