Tip, some odors are trapped in the cabin air filter. It may need to be changed. This product works for some odors, but not all.

Important to note: this is not a smell remover: it only adds another smell, my car had a minor stink to it and I, out of stupidity, bought that thing, and now my car smells like axe body spray 😅, after weeks it mostly went away but the old smell is still there

They claim its an odor eliminator, but it is definitely not. I bought an old truck that had gear oil spilled on the carpets at some point. I replaced the carpets, but the sulfur smell settled into all the fabrics. I used two of these and the smell came back both times. I finally got rid of the smell after using the chemical guys deodorizer spray and their new car smell spray.

@@ABDULMVJEED I used the Chemical Guys Ghosted odor eliminator. It has a citrus smell, which is okay but I'm not the biggest fan of, so I used some of their New Car Smell air freshener spray on top. The New Car Smell air freshener says it's also an odor eliminator, but I think the Ghosted spray did a better job of actually getting rid of the smell. The gear oil smell starts to show up again after a few weeks of baking in the hot sun, but just a hint of it, so I just spray some more and I'm good for the next few weeks. It seems like each time the smell comes back gets weaker, so it's slowly on it's way out.

It smells amazing after use, but usually after few days smell is back. For me is better solution once per year change cabin filter + use foam disinfection spray directly to cabin filter housing 💪

I would turn the heat on so the smell can cook inside for any cloth seats

not all odors can be removed this way. those can be taken care of with a few things. Ozone, carpet fabric extraction, leather cleaning and steam. 👍 if these all don't work.. change your underwear 😅

Swap cabin filter out after for a charcoal/carbon filter

Not a crazy great detailer or anything but to all who are saying smell returns you must eliminate cause of smell first example: spill on floor that has an odor you clean carpet first then add this in. I’ve used these also to eliminate smell of smoke in cars clients have smoked in AFTER a full detail and airing car out

I bought 2 of these. First one lasted 1 week. The second one lasted 4 days. The smell is back unfortunately.

You can see the area as he’s panning around after, but if anything this may make it wet. This type of thing should be mostly alcohol so if it does make the roof wet directly above it would evaporate off. Good to question that though

Biggest mistake I ever did. It did eliminate the odor smells but all I smell now is the cleaner. I've been putting baking soda in my interior over night and I almost have the chemical smell gone.

My ex set one of those off in my car one day while I was at work. I thought I was going to die for weeks after that. My drive to work isn’t very far, but I would be tasting that nasty smelling 💩 all day long from breathing it in. It definitely sticks around for a while!

@@AMZNFBARight?! I literally used one today to get rid of a cigarette smoke smell from a used car I bought. Tan it for 30 mins, Aires out the car for a couple hours and no smoke cell. Now I can use an air freshener to get that specific fragrance I want.

The best thing to do is change the cabin air filter and use a ozone machine. Let that run for about 30 min. Of course, let your ac unit run. Air it out for 10 minutes. Then use this car bomb scent or lysol

No it doesn’t , I have been using it for over 5 years now!

Smells good at first but after some time, it makes the vents smell like vinegar.

So everyone knows, this is not gonna work for 98% of people. Mainly smokers. Or people who have had a lingering smell for awhile. Your issue is not just in your fabric but also the padding under the fabric and carpets. Even if you try cleaning the seats the smell will come back. You will need to ask a detailer to treat your car. They have to run a ozone machine for a minimal of 8 hours then allow the car to air out. Your car needs the same treatment as homes that have had fire damage. So again theirs nothing wrong with this but all your doing is treating the issue on the surface

Yes.. highly recommend wearing seat belt. This first drive I breaked and went right into the floor.. accelerated wildly and drove through a sandwhich shop. It was on the news.. "florida man drives through restaurant".

It does work, no matter the scent. But, please for the sake of your health… let that thang AIR OUT! It says at least 10 min but, I’d say 15 with the A/C on. I just did my sun roof and two doors but, for other vehicles do everything you can.

Better off cleaning your car then just mask bad smell with good smell.
