Maybe you are taking it too extreme. The media published that Meghan made Kate cry. Kate apologized but never came out to say that this was false and people still assumed their relationship was rocky cause "Meghan made Kate cry". The media continued to pit everything meghan did against Kate, putting them as rivals. It was sickening, how can you pit two woman against each other (one as the good person and the other as evil) when woman should be loving and respecting one another. Everything Meghan did was judged as inferior to Kate or as a rebellion against Kate on medias. So why can't she for once come out and say the truth? On this point alone, I think people are blowing it out of proportion.

I am in no way saying all of Meghan's choices are true and morally correct but on this point, she has a right to speak out her truth when she has gotten so much hate from it. Be a mature adult? I think her answer was fairly mature. She's not acussing Kate, she's just clarifying a matter. Maybe the comments need to be mature and not her? She's not the one making a big deal out of it. It's the comments and people who are enjoying the drama. They are the ones who make what she say big and more dramatic than it needs to be.

Beacause they want the drama to stay inside the family. It is normal to have these issues among family members. But I think, there is someone inside the family or in the institution who told it to the UK media. Then these media people spread it like fire to the public with a different version of what actually happened.

I have zero respect for anyone that goes on TV to trash talk anyone and even less respect for oprah for doing this interview

It is ridiculous for Meghan to flip the script like that when there’s clear reporting from Valentine Low and Tom Bower stating Catherine was left in tears.

When I wanna avoid the press, the first step is definitely going on Oprah for an interview.

How could any person who volunteers at homeless shelters during teen years and during college and Suits travel to third world countries to help provide aide to women and girls suddenly become a narcissist. This hate campaign is so obvious. When you look her up on KZread or google you are flooded with nasty fake videos. The Pre Harry information is drowned out. People are literally making a living off of hating this woman who hasn’t ever hurt anyone. She has spent her life helping people.

The flowers were obviously an opportunity to put that incident behind them, but Meg & her minions have used a kind gesture to look like a declaration of guilt. It's what toxic people do.

Kate gave her advice in regards to the flower girls needing to wear stockings, not just for “protocol” purposes but for their own comfort as the leather shoes can easily scrap and rub on their feet and ankles hurting/blistering their skins. Kates own daughter is the flower girl so she had serious concerns for her own daughters comfort! If you look at the pictures that day you can see Princess Charlotte lift her leg up to grab at her feet because she was uncomfortable or in pain! She made those little girls wear the leather shoes with out socks too! So Meghan decided on no stockings and no socks, which went against protocol for royal members and placing the flower girls in real discomfort all day! This is what made both of them upset with each other. I’m for the comfort of the children! And since not one of the flower girls were Meghan’s own kids, she has zero care or stake in their comfort. Kate on the other hand does! She is speaking up for her daughters welfare and that of the monarchy’s protocol and giving Meghan sound advice as a new member of the family who clearly is dismissive if not completely ignorant of how things are done!

To be honest, I am an Asian and i live in Asia. I'm not really following the news about the Royal Family, but The Great Britain Royal Family with no doubt is the most popular Royal Family in here. Everyone recognize them, and love them. And to be very honest, after watching the interview with Harry & Meghan, surprisingly me and my family have more respect towards the Royal Family especially William & Kate. They are really fit for the throne, cause they just never priotize themselves and know their duty well. Its sad to see an outsider, came in and acted like she can broke and control one of the longest monarchy in the world!

They are banking of american audiences to just take their word for it. But once you start researching their claims, you will find out that they are not short changed as the 2 would like people to believe. Even the Queen said recollection may differ.

You are right. Disagreements should be handled privately and away from public views, but this situation is obviously different. 1. The story was first publicised by the press, not Meghan or Kate. 2. The media lied and said that Meghan made Kate cry, whic furthered their goal of perpetuating public dislike for Meghan. 3. The story helped to damage Meghan's reputation and was not even true 4. The people who knew the truth never stepped in to correct the false narratives or defend Meghan from the public backlash, chastisement and bullying and the resulting racist rhetoric spewed. So, given the "basket of lemons" Meghan was handed, what else was she supposed to do to defend her own reputation? Or do you want her to put on the British "stiff upper lip" and quietly endure the continued public bullying and defamation of character? It is unconscionable for you to chastise someone whose reputation was damaged by lying stories by the media, and those people who knew the truth never stepped in to correct it (and they are supposed to be family), and then this person decides to defend their own honour themselves by publically setting the record straight since noone else was going to do it.

From the minute she and Prince Harry announced their engagement, she’s been under constant scrutiny and has had to face endless harassment by the public and the British press. After going through 2 drastic life changes, being a newlywed and being a new mother, it seems like she’s had no time to enjoy either of those because of how relentless and awful the press has been to her. It almost feels like Princess Diana all over again, I think. And adding all the racist comments and harassment thrown at her as a biracial Black woman, it’s like she can’t catch a break! Like damn, what did she do to deserve any of this hate? Absolutely nothing!! And it’s even more sad that out of every person in the royal family, Prince Harry’s the only one (!!!!!) who’s stuck up for her. I’m glad they’re both taking a stand against it all! Buuuuut it's sorta like a mind fuck when something happened to you, and then it's reversed like you did it to someone else. Even her saying "that's not true. The opposite happened" unintentionally creates another riff between her and Kate, even THOUGH it's natural for her to stick up for yourself. She's kinda screwed either way she chose to go about it tbh, which sucks. Staying silent = ppl thinking she made Kate cry. Telling the "truth" = Making that apology from Kate, irrelevant.

Kate revealed it to the tabloid that the tabloid knows the detail.Kate apology wasn't sincere at all..She kept grudge against her that she kept dragging it even until after wedding.She is bitter toward Meghan.If I were Meghan, I would reveal the truth too because Kate was not sincere at all.She was bitter.

Exactly.Kate should have not big mouthed over small things..and then it came down to tabloid.Shows that she is bitter.Should have just left it behind instead of letting the tabloid knows every small thing about it.How would the tabloid find out if Kate was not so fussy.She just wanted to ruin Meghan's sweet memory on her big day.

Honestly it's understandable

When someone apologizes and gives you flowers and a card as an apology...you should accept it and not write about it in a book or do an interview about it.

Wow. I used to idolize Meg - & to be honest, I still do. However, this was such a snake move. 🐍 I'm sorry, but we ALL have in-law issues. Me too, used to like her previously. I read her blog and liked her style. But now.. whatever she does is just so distasteful.
