Teresa is isolated especially from strong men.She does not have sons, she's not on good terms with her brother, her father is gone, and her ex is stuck in a different country. He has a lot of control in that family and who knows how he could explode if he loses control.

Meghan at the beginning: Louis is a narcissist and will divide Teresa and her girls 😡 Meghan at the end: none of this stuff is that deep to me 😅 it’s reality tv 💁🏼‍♀️ I like Meghan but this interview came off more bitter than “truth teller”. Also, her definition of NPD lacks key markers like high intelligence, unresolved trauma, and unrelenting envy. You need to know your stuff if you’re going to perform armchair diagnoses. To be clear, I believe she dealt with a narcissist but it’s pretty evident that she has more healing to do.

I do not agree with a lot of what Teresa has done. That being said I do feel for her. She deserves a man to truly love her and be her partner. I don't think Teresa is as confident as she wants everyone to think she is. She was raised by a strict Italian father who Teresa has even admitted she was afraid of him as a child. I remember on the show one time Mr. Gorga talked about getting his belt to discipline one of the girls. He was joking but that shows the belt was probably something he used on his children. There was love but maybe some abuse too. Then she marries Joe G who became a criminal and pulled Teresa into his mess. Now she has Luis who is using her. I think Meghan is right saying he is a narcissist.

The kind of personality disorder she describes is mindblowingly formulaic. Once you begin to understand it, outcomes are fairly easy to predict, with or without much insight very personal to the couple. And anyway, that illusions are only shattered after the damage is done is the entire point. That's the whole game.

It's always interesting when two narcissists marry each other. Sad thing is Teresa's been raised to be subservient and then play victim. That's going to show through to her daughters who will then follow in her footsteps and the toxic dysfunctional family continues on. 😢
