I've always loved Meghan! At first I struggled because of how her marriage appeared and it was sad to watch (she was so upbeat and smart & I felt she deserved so much better ❤) but when she called BS on the cancer!? She instantly became one of my faves. I just rewatched that season so many years later with a diff perspective because now I'm a 47 y.o. colorectal cancer survivor myself... all I can say is THANK YOU MEGHAN!!!! Wish you & your beautiful children all the best 🤗

Yup. He basically treated her like a hot nanny. Leanne was ill and he didn't want to have to bother with his own children.

I agree with Meghan. The OC looks like a canceled show already just like a Dallas. The pandemic and the removal of Kelly Dodd ruined the show. The camraderie the show used to have surrounded by real drama was what made the OC stand out. Not anymore. Everything is fake now.

I agree. IRL, people interact with all sorts of people in their day to day lives. Diversity comes in many forms, including diversity of thought and politics. Bravo and especially Andy Cohen became "too woke", and that was their own undoing. That's why they fired Kelly Dodd. They did not like her or Rick's opinions during the pandemic. Sorry, but IRL, there are often "problematic " people that are legitimately a part of your life. Even people like Ramona Singer. Part of life is learning how to deal with others, even people you dislike for whatever reason. Bravo and Andy Cohen played a huge role in the cancel culture mentality. Andy would be on social media and WWHL slamming half the country for their beliefs because those beliefs did not align with his. Bravo wanted an echo chamber vs diversity of thought and beliefs. It created a toxic environment, and as a result, housewives lost their authenticity. If they said their true beliefs or something Bravo and Andy Cohen didnt like, they got unapologeticallyfired like Kelly Dodd and Ramona Singer did. So the other Housewives learned to keep certain thoughts to themselves and just went with the flow, regardless of whether or not they truly believed in things. For fear of losing their jobs if they did.

You’re right, it’s sooo fake. You can see it, and unfortunately Tamrat made it completely obvious last season. And all that bs about Heather moving house!!! All contrived and forced. I won’t be watching.

Look @ how many couples have gone to jail and how many couples have gotten divorced. This show is horrible and ahome wrecker.

Im kinda over the narrative that housewives as a whole has gone down hill. I feel it’s just that people are having a hard time accepting the coming end of the OG era. But like Miami has given us 3 incredible seasons, New York is back, Salt Lake City is PHENOMENAL, Beverly Hills though going down in quality of tv is having great numbers. OC is finally starting to rise in numbers. Really Potomac, Atlanta, and New Jersey are the only ones going truly down, and all of those are fixable. I think predicting the ending before it’s time can sometimes be a mistake to self-fulfilling that. But if we keep talking about how things should get cancelled or might get cancelled, even if they are becoming better, we then why would new viewers or potential returning viewers invest their time in these shows. And truly that’s alright, but I do feel once that day comes, some people who were complaining are just going to complain more!

I think this past season was much better. Not what it used to be but a big improvement in terms of authenticity (thank you Jennifer pedranti) and Tamra kept it interesting with the drama but yes a little too obviously produced. I think next season will be similar but there’s sooo muc going on in real life as they’re filming I hope it’s even more authentic.
