Today's music have no meaning to it, it's all on the same level, same frequency level and beats. All they ever rap about is sex, murdering and drugs it has to be more than that. Where's the art form when they keep on saying the same thing over and over. Eventually it get's boring, at least lil kim expressed her sexuality but also was gangsta at the same time so music needs a balance to it like pac was gangsta but also sung about why us men need to respect our women and about his life. Public Enemy rapped about fight the power, Naughty By Nature OPP party music make the whole dang city get up and dance too it along with MC HAMMER. it's not like that any more. Now the only thing you hear is the same level of beats, saying the same words over and over again without any meaning, not having a lesson learned at the end of the album like Method Man and wu tang back in the day, LOVE MUSIC WITH Ashantie and fat joe with "whats love got to do anything" and music was just rockin and made you just want to get up and dance now it's just flat. Women singing about body parts don't thrill me if that's all they rap about and nothing else, i already know they come from the streets now wheres that gangsta mentality at and not just rapping about the power of the va -JJ . hIP hOP NEEDS MORE TO IT... same level everything nothing new, same thing every dang time.

the lessons learnt has no conscious meaning to it, how can they expect primarily the youth listening to it to grow with out any lessons learnt from each scenario. Ya some people may find it cool to drink or do drugs but what if they crash. Ya some women may find that it's good to build wealth by showing off most of their bodies to men but what about when they reach the age of 80 are they still going to keep showing their bodies off then when they rap about spending it all on fancy cars, high priced cloths and this and that without using investing it into futures, forex, starting a business etc. and teaching the men that give them paper how invest and to be financially secure too. That way they can not only have enough money to not only give women on lets say only fans or strippers but also enough to give to their wives and children if they have any. Men also need to learn your spending all this money on materialized things like shoes, cars and thots, even dating thots and not giving each other free how to information on how to get grant money to start a legitimate business, how to invest the proper way, how to buy up and sell real estate. You know free information by word of moth and sell the same info rest to other races. Asians do this same thing all the time, also how about rapping about the importance of a child being self educated in the household by two parents, that way they could teach their young sons how to respect women and teach their young daughters how to grow up to respect their bodies and why they shouldn't just grow up to do anything for money but be smart about it. teach them the fundamentals of building a legacy the positive legitimate way so that those in charge don't try to take it from them such as building a legal 420 company once they get older and invest into other black owned businesses and buy dirt cheap land in Africa and Caribbeans and import them globally. Build global banks, angel investment firms, top level innovations, infrastructures and black digital wall streets to help people of color everywhere. But the number one key is gaining assets and managing money wisely. Hip Hop is already great but I would also like to see that in our music as well. Theirs no limit to what we can do as people of color, set the fire engine on high and take off on high speed with all endless possibilities. Hip Hop and all forms of music creativity is innovative but it needs a balance to it like cartoons are cool but it must be something much more than seeing just that by bringing 3d animation to the table or live movies manically speaking i want the same for hip hop. it all needs a balance to it consciously and the artist need to do it for the steets because music is reflective of the environments around us. All that we see and do in most cases is reflective from the types of music we hear and when we become older we look back and can see that that's true.

the lessons learnt has no conscious meaning to it, how can they expect primarily the youth listening to it to grow with out any lessons learnt from each scenario.

Strip away all the incredible hair/makeup/outfit/choreo/etc. and you still have one of the top rappers in the game. Wordplay and sheer talent leagues above so many of the others. She's an absolute testament to what good upbringing gets you. Her mama and granny must be so proud watching her from above.
