Unrelated, but not only is the end joke with the kids & the dehydration gun at 10:44 just funny, but it's also a perfect set-up for a show; THIS, having Megamind sell his "villainous" objects only to want to retrieve them, deal with the ones who own them, & maybe even downright help them if possible, would be the perfect concept for the Megamind cartoon.. But with the so called sequel, I'm afraid this won't be the case.

This short film, the plot, the jokes are better, than in Megamind 2, and this short was released 13 years ago. 💀

Purely *wanting* a sequel doesn't always mean a sequel is *needed.* This short is all we need.

11:10 I can relate to Megamind at this moment. I too would relish the idea that a misbehaving kid will face the worst possible punishment from their parents. I'd probably even consider an evil-sounding laugh just to emphasize how toast they are when their parents wake up again.

I know right! I love his smile, it’s so infectious. He’s one of the most likeable main characters I’ve seen in a movie in a long time.

This short is better than the entire Megamind 2 movie

This worked pretty will as a sort of sequel, after the movie with the white cape and everything, i got the feeling Megamind would struggle in HOW exactly to be his own hero rather than a Metroman copy, so i'm glad that was adressed.

For real. If we never get a Megamind sequel I'll probably be fine. Everything has been tied up in a neat and tidy little bow and I can't really think of anymore stories to tell in the Megamind universe. As much as I want a sequel, I would be totally content without one.
