Yeah, I watched the Boss Baby show for a while until I snapped out of it and realized it wasn't good. (Except for the "mommy and daddy drugged me?!" line and the clip of boss baby climbing up a slide and falling backwards) This doesn't look promising, they should've made it from the REAL DreamWorks Animation, not the TV studio. Now that I'm 17, their only Netflix show based off a movie that I still find entertaining and funny is surprisingly enough Turbo F.A.S.T. Also something unrelated but kinda hilarious is that the Mr. Peabody And Sherman Show (which was alright, not too bad compared to the other dreamworks shows) literally ended with the world exploding from love and it's wholesome until they're left floating in space and the dark realization sets in...

This has a megalow budget.

It was a masterpiece that then. But now. Wow.

Megamind in this new movie looks like that one mannequin of him that Titan melted down in the training montage .

This is like disney all over again where you went from bangers like toy story from abousute awfulness like whatever "wish" is.

I SERIOUSLY hope they do what Paramount did with the Sonic movie and give it a makeover.

​@timesnewsans the big issue is paramount only had to overhaul the CG characters, more specifically just sonic AFAIK. That makes it vastly cheaper to fix than remaking the entire movie with improved graphics. Frankly with sonic you could've just chroma keyed the old sonic out and inserted the new sonic. Can't do that with this world-eater level fuck up of a "movie"

This looks like one of the ads you would get when you’re in the car and watching the lego movie on the back of the car seat (you know what I’m talking about)

I want to think that Peacock played dirty and forced DW to make a Megamind movie just for them so DW did the worst thing possible as revenge

I am now flashing back to a comment in the Schaffrillas video that gushed over Mega Mind. Someone mentioned it’s a good thing Mega Mind wasn’t appreciated in its time since it would have probably lead to cheap sequel after cheap sequel like what happened with Despicable Me. It took awhile, but I think we are about to witness the dark timeline finally catching up to us.

“Me is one of my favourite things in the whole wide world.” -something Megamind would never say, literally ever. He literally hated himself and had no friends or self esteem for like 80% of the first movie, and only learned to cherish himself after being given a chance to love others and be loved by them. You can’t just make him a selfish narcissist for “comedy.” First The Nine Realms and now this.

Thank goodness it's actually not officially called Megamind 2 so that we can forget about this thing and maybe DreamWorks can cook up a sequel for this movie on par with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

I'm pretty sure this is made by the DreamWorks TV department they specialize in this stuff so I would be a little less worried about Kung fu panda 4

Nah this was made by the low budget dreamworks department while kung fu panda will be made by the same studio which made puss and boots the last wish and stuff like that

This entire movie is invalidated by the fact that he can disassemble people into cubes and leave them that way until you rehydrates them. Stories over.

I will never accept this as a cannon continuation of his story

I guess streaming sequels are the new direct-to-DVD sequels.

Once i saw that forced upon DEI side kick, it was a wrap. Adding a side kick isn't bad but when they make it a DEI, they mess it up so bad. The side kick is gonna have a bunch of screen time, be super corny, and outright annoying.

Probably also to pander to the Chinese market, which let's face it is the only market where they're going to find any success with this movie.

The animation looks like a Nickelodeon show. Roxanne looks more like an alien than Megamind does.
